first,a little backstory...

made meself a seeker...i was busy looking at shard graphics and decided on turqoise shards (cause of the glow and the spikes)....

also,i figured since its basically me first seeker,a little extra mp would be nice while i learned how to use her skills properly (yes i think i nearly emptied archosaur of perfect and immaculate turqoise shards, for tt70 set)

sides,i figured it will only be a little while till i have to make her tt80 set...

so the question is,whats the best shards?i could go full anything i suppose, but i was wondering if maybe a mix of shards would do her some good

Citrines is the best for seekers. You don't need garnets, you will have enough p.def. as for m.def, well all your defense levels will help you out in that area as well (as long as you use m.def accessories).

At your level, the best shard to stick with is citrine. If you want extra MP, your best bet is either an arcane hat or to simply use magic rings with decent MP bonuses.

    He said he's a seeker.

Just get lv 75 and buy some serious herb huanxiaos and you won't be worrying on your mp nor on how hard is to keep vortex running. b:bye

Shards? Get some serious citrines, at endgame make sure to get serious vit stones and JoSD.

Sharding for mana does require a different type of gameplay, I would tell you go ahead, but you would need extra HP from refines / gear adds, since vortex eats too much.

And herbs? Don't listen to them too much, they would use herbs for the mana regen rate, and you would still waste over half the herb for your mana pool being tiny.

What a friend did and worked very well for him, get a second gear set and shard it with mana shards for situations such as GV, where the Vortex needs to stay up for long or whenever he wants to spam skills.

Either that or live your life sucking on MP charms as the rest of seekers do.

Mana shards... I started playing my Veno again (last time I really PLAYED was 2010), and I had some of those in my armor. >_> removed them and went cits and garnets.

Seriously, in the 70's, you'll most likely want HP more than MP. Unless you have refined gear...

And really, only Suicide Arma barbs fully shard with turquoise... I'm not even gonna do that, I'm going with DoT's.

And a handful of other alts, all 79 and under.

Is a couple of hundred mana REALLY cgoing to change that much?

I'd say - go ahead at low levels;' but later on (and 70s is late enough) I'd go with the usual citrine advice.

Mayyyyybe sapphires, to balance your mdef with your pdef. Maybe. Mainly citrines though.

    I have 1,400 MP

    I use Yuan herbs.

    Why?

Because it costs the same as the MP pots I use to buy and will massively recover MP and keep it full for a short while. It has it's uses, if I need to buff squad mates in different locations.

I don't argue that her seeker has no need for Yuan herbs. Not until she is doing FC pulls or Delta.
