A question of power

I'm a R8 archer on RT and I have been trying a couple of different ways to get more power. I refined my Demonhunter bow out to +5 and then instead refining out to +6 I did a reset and dumped all my vit into dex and bought a +15 dex tome. My physical attack went from 13,300 to 13,918 but I only noticed a few thousand rise in my hits. I f I refine out to +6 I will see a jump of about 60 physical points. Which is the better method. Try to get more dex or continue to refine?

    Why not get better dex AND refine (assuming you are not going to use dragon orb for a +6)?

    Also, yeah, if you are actually using a Dragonbow I wouldn't refine any further either way...
