How the hell do I beat mystics on my veno? x.x

    I don't have many problems to defeat a mystic. His pet is very weak except the cragg. The things that you have to pay attention is the heals herbs, the cragg, and his auto-buff that increase physical and wood defense. But i don't know what is your level, equips and skills that you have sage or demon.

    If the myst summons the crag use bramble hood, then stun with fenix, ironwood, go to fox form purge and amp, go to human form and atk. Another combo is lucky scarab + parasict nova, purge and amp, stun with fenix, ironwood... If you don't kill him and the duration bramble finished, usually i use the summer sprint demon (but i don't know if you are demon or sage), or i use feral concentration with fortify in the daimon, and continue try to stun him, atk the herbs or kill the pet (don't try to kill the cragg) and atacking. I always try to reserve sparks to use 2+ bramble hood , the 15s after the bramble disppear i try to be immune a damage, and got more spark.
    For example: I'm with 3 sparks and 99 of chi, use bramble hood = 15s, in this time try to get one more chi, then use the feral with fortify and summer sprint if you have, and try to get one more chi, so then you are able to use a bramble hood again.

    The only thing that i hate in this myst and in the clerics is because they heal themselves every time, but the stun and the fenix solve the problem (the new skills bewicht, natural sinergy and soul shatter will be strongs tactics to defeat a mist, but it's better i don't say strategies with the new skills because few venos have these skills now)

    A good mystic probably won't be using Cragg. It's a waste of two sparks in PVP usually.

    Major problem with veno vs. mystic is honestly that mystics can stunlock so easily if they know what they're doing. Basically:

    -5sec stun with Chirhyu
    -3sec seal with Mistress (if level 11)
    -13sec sleep with lysed Listless
    -50% chance to seal and/or freeze with Gale Force (85% if demon)
    -And, of course, seal/freeze with Thicket

    The seals, in addition to the lightning fast heals and the ability to leech pets for anti-stun (6secs for level 10/demon; 9secs for sage) and added crit/pdef (Chirhyu leech) or matk/mdef (Mistress leech) or shield/falling petals (Salvation leech), are essentially what makes fighting mystics so annoying since anti-stun doesn't help you avoid seal.

    Basically, the key is learning what does what and learning how to avoid and/or mitigate it.

    Edit- It occurs to me that getting the wood immune skill on your genie would help. But, of course, they can do the same for you.

    for me and only in duels i usually get crushed on my r8 barb by a r9 fully geared

    Veno but on my 92 Mystic i can win by avoiding there pet use gale force to send

    Nix or Herc running and do your thing. Remember if you stun the user the pet isn't

    always stunned. Stun and avoid the pet then destroy the Veno.

    it can be done :-)

    I can't wait to get my Mystic to lvl 100-101
    19k Hp and rising my goal is 20k unbuffed (would love 25k )

    watch their debuffs before u waste ur lucky scarab. Purge + amp + myriads usually does the trick

    Nowadays stun is not a important thing to defeat me. I don't know you but it's not easy to a myst defeat me. For example in duel: Combo bramble hood, summer sprint, feral concentration + fortify, purge, amp, ironwood, bramble again. I'm always using skills to reduce damage and immune the damage. If you get to stun me, usually i'm with bramble hood (then the effect of summer sprint and feral concentration dessapear is the chance if you have to stun) But you have to remeber that the nix stuns the target without i need to command, and the nix is very strong and can kill myst easily. The heal of the mist is the only thing that i'm worried.

    My main problem is their nasty thicket D: They stun me with the devil than thicket me and the devil kills me ._. I cant even purge them since their stun is freaking instant. If their seal on thicket fails than yes they are screwed but still freezing me in place takes my kiting away and that bothers me >.> Help D:

    Could you say your level? And is your veno sage or demon?
    It's very important we know this. It's too hard we help you without we know what is your level and your spiritual cultivation.

    If that seriously works everytime people in this game must be ****. No wonder PvP is so dead in this game if you can't find any fights against actually intelligent and adaptable human beings.

    Get nullify poison on your genie. It won't block the freeze, but it'll block the seal and the dmg, and if the freeze is really that going to be that detrimental you can just use lvl 4 summer sprint. It makes a pretty distinct sound so that's how you can tell when it's coming. You can also use nullify to block listless lysing as well.
