So, I know most people like to open packs, it's like picking up a scratch off ticket at the gas station, you know the odds are low but you try it anyway. I like to gamble a little bit, play cards mostly. The thought crossed my mind about gambling coins or tokens at a card table with other players. Could be anything really, as long as you have to stake and win/lose vs other players.

PWI wouldn't lose on much, if anything it would encourage more zen charging to get back the money you lost, and players who got good at it or made it a habit could have some more fun socializing with their time in pwi. Just a little more fun than watching world chat scroll by.

    The odds of winning something from a gas station scratch off ticket is about 1 in 4. How on earth does that compare to packs?

    And you are familiar with online gambling laws yes? PWE is already skating a fine line on that subject, I doubt they want to delve further into that without obtaining the proper licensing.

    its like scratch offs only you have a 97% chance to get ****, 2% chance to get slightly more valuable ****, and 1% chance to get something of no monetary value, but everyone wants.

    Gambling is a terrible idea in any MMO because the average MMO player completely lacks the common sense needed to do it responsibly. Moreover, PWI operates enough like one of those shady online casinos as it is. Well okay, maybe a cross between a casino (packs) and a purveyor of various e-peen extension devices (r8/9). :P

    When I asked about this I was told they can't have it due to the gambling laws in china.
