This quest

That quest puts Uncannies at a price of 278,700 coins and Raptures at 2,500,000. Though, since currently Raptures are regularly traded for 4 Uncannies, this would put Uncannies at about 50,000 coins each, until the market adjusted to it.

So what we would end up with is the Uncanny market just about crashing. And then people would complain that there is nothing worth farming in this game anymore.

Also, Cosmos mounts would crash in prices.

So while you'd make R8 recast more available, you'd make Nirvana worth ****.

Also, you do realize that the Damascene recipe requires 398 Tokens as well?

The opposite effect is also very possible: it might just prove to make tokens more expensive. Which, of course, would also make packs better.

We're very much aware of this quest, and fully understand what the implications of releasing it are. The conversion of ToL to Uncanny/Raptures, as well as receiving R8 recast indirectly from the Boutique has a very real chance of majorly despoiling the economy (for those who want to jump on this comment to make themselves look cool, yes, even worse than it is now).

While I can't confirm if we're ever going to release it, I can say that it'll be done only if we're confident the results bring more benefits than drawbacks. This quest made sense in certain regions, hence why it's coded into the game, but it might not necessarily make sense for PWI. b:bye

Obviously they are aware, but do not have the Magic fix for it yet and if it wasn't obvious, they do care enough to at least say something about it.

You do not need to insult them when they are at least trying to tell us what is going on.

I currently have recast 8 boots,plate, and poleaxe. I use to generally play the game several hours a day while I was home because of a work injury, however I am starting to get better an will have to somday return to work. MY faction regularliy does trials 1-9 and then to about 1-5 on the next ones per week. There are now many of us who have went the rank 8 recast route. The issue is that the stats generally seem to turn out crappy and while I don't mind farming the additional coin an matts required to reroll...the damascene ore is not very available due to it needing to be shared among the faction. Additionally nobody seems to sell it outside of faction, so people offer insanely high amount of coin for it and that drives up cost inside faction to members ( who generally get about 50% of market price)

So long story short- yeah the damascene ore drops need to be doubled/tripled, or there needs to be some other way to get them that is doable, or they need to be available for an affordable price in boutique.

Well I hope you do release the NPC. Isn't that the NPC you trade for the unavailable skill for each class that isn't from Morai ...? =/ Really looking forward to the cleric one.

And like someone else said; the price for raptures and cannies are almost the same (1.8m/300k each on DW).

This would set gold to ridiculously high which would actually be really good for me( Cashshopper sitting on 10k tokens) but it would stop the flow of cheap crabmeats/herbs/hypers/etc effecting a lot of f2p players. I can see tokens jumping from the 12-14k(depending on sales) to 30k+. I agree on the point of making the mats easier to access but IMO using tokens for that would wreck what is left of the economy. I dont mind if my tokens multiplied in value but some players would get screwed over too hard.

10:1 ratio or 12:1 ratio is a better idea, assuming plat ores sell for 1 mil each. that would put the recast cost on par with the nirvana gear recast costs. thats 30-35 mil plus the other needed mats and cost per recast. that seems fair to me.

Joking aside, I think if this was released, I can see tokens being bought out constantly, and gold would be very high, and possibly rare for at least a week. Packs would be selling very well I'd imagine, especially if a sale "coincide" with it.

Alternatively, you could implement a coin fee, depending on the fee, however, could kill the point of farming Nirvana.

I was mostly a f2p once and I can put myself into their position. Back in days I worried bout repairs and doing stuff saving charms etc. Nowdays I just make sure I got enough charms for TWs as I`ll charge early days of the month and "make it last rest of the month". I actually messed up that this month as I should of bought charms I didnt - lucky there`s been no real TWs which would of burned em and I found some plat charms from alts(+500 teles on 2x archer alt, lol).

But I dont expect prices to stabilize at the peek they`d get for first few weeks - The same happened with first rep sale. I think that maybe 30k+ tokens are bit optimistic, the skyrocketing part may be 40k+ each and if we would use the correlation between nirvana mats to tokens and current prices - We`d be over 50k/token on archosaur. I heard there is hard cap of 2m for gold on AH - I expect hitting it if this quest was introduced.

Ps. Shush these talks, I`m supposed to keep eye out for 10k tokens to help friend farm his pan gu(Will rebuy tokens for the same 10k each). Sure I could make a lot of profit if I simply resold all the cheap tokens I found but I do find friendship more important.

You do realize that this would actually only benefit cash shoppers and ppl who hoard/sell tokens or the combination of both like me myself? Tokens are ~13k each on archo atm and I got ~10k tokens. Now 40k isnt really that much in terms of prices skyrocketing - My 10k tokens worth ~130m would be worth ~400m. Now I dont mind free money but I dont think it would be by any means fair for others. Oh yeah, I know somebody who least claims of owning 100k+ tokens, I think the claim was 140k tokens.
