Hi, I am interested in joining a faction that does trials regularly. Finish all 9 trials in 1 week, or more b:pleased. I am not well versed in factions that do trials on sanctuary and what kind of requirements they have to enter the faction, if someone can give the names, i can find out more about them and join one of them on my bm.

I do my BH, Morai daily, cube, divine, bq, weekly pwi events was looking to add trials in there. I am on the east coast, but i have a flexible schedule, so can figure out when to join them. Last time i did trials with my faction, trial 1 took 6 hours and i was the main tank for most part. That was not a fun day. 6 undergeared people are not enough for trials b:chuckle.

I don't do pvp, unlikely to do TW, if that faction does TW, hopefully that won't be a major drawback, but compromises can be made.

Thank you for helping in advance b:cute.

Xeon is a Trials based faction, trials only more or less. Requirement is 90+. Trials are typically at 5 PM server time, once a day, can sometimes do multiple trials in one day if enough people show up.
    101 Sage Sin*/Archer
    100 Demon BM*/Barb
    96 Demon Cleric/Sage Seeker
    95 Demon Wiz/
    94 Sage Veno
    85 Psy/80 Mystic
And a handful of other alts, all 79 and under.

You should come join Xeon :)

Unique Features not found in other Factions that does trials on Sanctuary:

    - Non TW competitive faction:
One of the hardest thing about doing trials is finding enough people to do them sometimes. And the only factions that does them mainly are major factions that also does TW and has a TW attendance requirements and other obligations. The whole purpose why Xeon was formed is solely to run trials and has no TW obligations - whether you want to farm mats for coins or to farm your recast gear. Pretty much everyone in the faction will do trials when ever there is one in progress, unlike 'some' other factions where those with high end gear(r9....) will only help occasionally and shows no interest in helping.

    - You can get up to 4x Arcanum Treasure instead of 1 PER TRIAL:

No glitch, no breaking the game's rules, no joke. In most TW factions or other major factions, you will only get 1 Arcanum Treasure per trial. At Xeon, you can earn up to 4. That is four times the rewards and more chances to get rarer mats.

    Lets compare the results:
LG - does the most trials per given week than any other faction on our server.

7 straight trials in LG gives --> 7 x Arcanum Treasures
7 straight trials in Xeon --> 7 to 28 Arcanum Treasures

That means less time doing trials, and getting more recast mats, and more time you can have to do your dailies, bhs, or farm other things. If you had to choose, which option would you rather go with?

    - You get the most out of a single trial than any other faction on the server:

Xeon has a varity of ways to obtain mats for the recast process. We have the fairest DKP system and the most motivated one for trial mats distribution. We have mats that are auctioned to players, and also some are available through a direct buy process in which you don't have to wait to accumulate that amount of dkp to buy mats from the bank. All coins goes from the sales and auction gets distributed back to the participants of that trial it obtianed in. What that means is, aside from the Arcanum Treasure(s) that you get, you will also be getting coins for higher trials. Based on our records, its about 700k- 1.2 mil so far for trials with Auctioned/sold mats.

Xeon also has a lottery game that gives the chance for memebrs to quickly earn mats. For our last lottery game, the jack pot was 20 mil worth of mats. It was pretty much 20% of the mats needed to recast one piece of r8 armor.

    - Time and trial organization:

Xeon caters to mainly Eastern and Western US time zones. So, you'll have no problem fitting in and doing trials together with everyone in the faction. I know most major factions that does trials does it when ever there is enough people whenever the trials are easy. After all the easy trials are completed, no one wants to do the higher end ones. So that restricts the amount of mats you can farm per week.

    - Payroll

Xeon is the only faction on the server that pays you for doing your base quests and trials. You get paid for accumulating merit. This was set up to help pay for your repair/pots and other expenses. From my knowledge, no other faction does this :)

I'd guess you're allowed to bring in alts just for getting chests. o_o

Actually, Xeon isn't the only faction I'm in that does this.

You log in your alt when trial starts, take quest, log off, log main, do trial, get reward, log alt, get reward. Simple.

Only difference is most factions like Leg don't allow alts in their main faction, which makes it hard.

The fact that the quests work this way is good for if you get DCed right at the end of a trial (has happened to a lot of my friends and myself several times), though it also works for extra farming on alts.

Downside is that some trials require resetting after the alts take the quest, so it can add an extra 10 to 45 minutes to the trial you are doing.

personally, I don't do the multiple alts thing, I just do it on one character, but that is just me.

Actually it doesn't take that much extra time, and the only trial that requires restarting is trial 4, because of time restriction with the npc's health and that the drops needed to complete the gold quest disappears when the totems are all destroyed. For all other trials, no resetting is required as each person take turns rotating their alts, or can be done prior to the start of trial or during the trial duration.

Trial 1: All alts pick up quest before the start of trial (No need to reset)
Trial 2: All alts pick up quest and dig before start of trial (No need to reset)
Trial 3: All alts pick up quest and dig during the long duration before the 2nd wave starts (No need to reset)
Trial 4: The only trial that requires reset but takes only about 15 minutes to get enough drops for all the alts (those who are on time for trial that is)
Trial 5: During the pad farming, either have 1 sin+cleric to solo one mob for 8 alts in a squad, or have a good seeker to solo the mobs for 9 alts in a squad. At the same time, mats can be farmed in other rooms (No need to reset)
Trial 6: (No need to reset)
Trial 7: Once 666 mobs is reached, there should be ample time for everyone to log onto alts to pick up drops before the boss comes (No need to reset)
Trial 8: Since there are 8 npcs to save, have 7-8 rotations of a small number of people to take turns switching alts to get the kill from the Jester mob
Trial 9: (No need to reset)

Been curious how xeon handles inactives in their faction, just gauging people's activity in faction based on guild base stuff and trials attendance?

We keep attendance of every trial that doubles as DKP. If its shown that you have not shown to any Trial for a month without suitable excuse or if you just plain dont have at least 200 contribution for weeks you get booted
