So I get that you're trying to make the game last longer, but why are these new skills that cost 675 influence unstashable. That is just annoying.

If 3 dailies only gets me 65 prestige and 30 influence + the 1 weekly 60 prestige (multi order quest). That's a grand total of 210 influence and 515 prestige PER WEEK.

These books are 675 influence BUT require you to have at least 3500 prestige to even attempt a purchase. That means you'd have to do these daily + weekly quests EVERY SINGLE DAY for 7, yes SEVEN whole weeks to get 1 book?

This is kind of rediculous...

If I'm asking anything, I'm only asking that you can at least make these books stashable or at least tradable if thats too much to ask..

Anyone else care to chime in? b:cry

So there's finally something that you actually have to farm and people complain? People also complain because everything can be bought.

    Nice job!

I like that you have to be dedicated to get these skills and not just have enough coin. :) Please dont ask for another thing that can just be bought and traded. Just work hard for it and the reward will be much sweeter.

This^^ Its called work. Work for it, attain it and be proud of it. No need for them to be account stashable. Btw.. if you could do that leveling would be thru the roof. You can open up to 2 mil xp per day while in shroud as long as you have the influence for it. Having that be account stashable would be like PWI shooting themselves in the foot, then sticking their gun in the waist band in the front and shooting other things as well.

I think you 3 that posted after me, (too lazy to multi quote) misunderstood my post.

I have alts that i'd like to have skills on too and having to play EVERY SINGLE ALT to get skills, and mind you there are 3 orders with skills that are just as good, is just annoying as hell.

I never said, "Please put these skills on Botique so that we can just all buy our way to end game" <-- sarcasm since we already can, but that wasn't my point. I just want to be able to get skills for serveral characters.

This game got easy the moment packs came into play, the hardest part was always gettting all your end game gear and skills. If the gears are already so easy to attain, why not just change the ability to trade these skills in our account stash...that's all I ask.

No offense, but if you aren't willing to put in the work on your alts, they don't deserve to have the skills. "Alt" != "I get to do it lazymode cuz I do work on my main".

    I agree with the OP.

The whole point is that we ARE willing to do the work - but I cant get the skills any faster no matter how much I play.

I want to do the mobs/instances more often to get the skills. I dont want them in the boutique.

According to the Divine Emissary there should be that "divine thingy" (sorry cant remember its name) that allows you to do the Divine Emissary quests more often, but it hasnt been implemented yet.

Give us a way to get more prestige please......

I think it's being stretched out like this on purpose. If you're limited in the amount of prestige/influence you can gain per day, you can't just hardcore grind it out real fast and be done with it. Maybe this is one of PWRD's ideas for "lengthening the life of the game".

    Simple answer, dont do it.

I have yet to see a "must have" skill out of these new skills, for my class at least.

Im not getting them just for the sake of getting them.

In fact, afterdoing the 95+ quests, and the endless universe thing once, i have no plans to go back to Morai.

Just cause you don't like your skills, doesn't mean I or anyone else doesn't want to get them.

In fact I want to get them all. Why? Because theyre new, no one knows how they work or if they're any good in pvp or pve etc etc. It's unknown territory and I want to know how these skills work, not only on this char but the others as well.

    Why so much hate? b:surrender

Its got nothing to do with like or hate. Its the fact ive looked at the descriptions of these skills and nothing screams out "gota have it". like say HF for a BM every BM has to have HF.

I just dont see the point in spending time and effort on a skill that you may never actually use.

Ya know, back in the day before there were hypers, before there were rank sales, before there were pack sales with end game **** when people actually leveled by questing, forming zhen parties, farmed HH for gears the servers were quite lively. Full of players grinding every day. It tooks months to get to 7x or 8x and the gears were earned and fought for with hard work.

Then came the pack sales, then the hypers, then the rank sales and with it hyper-leveled noobs cash shopping endgame gears and what do we have now? much less populated servers with bored 10x players with more alts than god knows what and people coming to the forums QQing about how less populated their servers are lately.

You get where I'm going? The faster and easier the devs and PWE allowed players to achieve end-game status the faster the game is sliding into oblivion. What you are asking for would do nothing but accelerate that even further. Yes, I believe you should be forced to earn the skills for each of your alts just as each of your alts must obtain and complete their own cultis.
    I **** bigger than you...

Shut up and play the game.....Damn

I see teh point you're trying to make, and yea I mysefl played in that era of the game., but that doesn't mean I can't be able to stash my stuff. I got to 6x during that time with no bh's no hypers no super lvling ways or anything. 6x then started the epic scroll + grindfest that no one liked doing.

Anyway that's all in the past we now have people at 105 and are quite bored but that's not the point of my post, the point was to have them at least make these books stashable. That won't allow for people to sell these books or even make a profit in any way, just be able to do it for 7 whole weeks for 1 book like i mentioned.

If you won't put in the effort on x character then it doesn't deserve the skills.

It's something to work to, I'm damn glad they arn't stashable, activity has friggin skyrocketed recently because people are spending much longer working on skills. People log on to do their dailies and get caught up in trials, BHs doing stuff for their alts..... Much better than catshop and AFK like everyone has been doing for oh so long.
I've quit excluding TW for my faction. But I still hang around to help out those who still enjoy the game under PWEs horrific handling and to have fun in the forums. b:cute
#Shame about PWEs absolutely craptastic handling of the goons glitching. Remember kids, there's no punishment for breaking the rules here!#
If you make a valid complaint, your thread will disapear. Don't post it here, post it on other sites where PW can't hide it.

I have to also agree with the OP. The fact is that not everyone has the time to play all of their alts to get those skills. Having them be tradable would help a lot. I'm willing to put forth the effort on my characters, but some things are ridiculous. This is an attempt to stretch out the span of the game, but this is just a bandage on a larger wound. It won't be able to save it.

The ways that it could work are to have more ways to gain prestige and influence....A LOT more ways. Dragging out the process of gaining the skills, I personally view it as a sad attempt to drag the games lifespan out, and to temporarily stop the QQ for endgame content. For those of us who received sucky skills...or view our skills as sucky, we're even more SOL...as we're working towards sucky skills to achieve one good skill....or because we're completionists.

That's just my take on it. Take care, and good luck in game/real life.

First, PWE being a for-profit business it's in their best interest to keep people online doing whatever. It makes better business sense to make each char spend as much time online to earn their skills just as it makes business sense to make the most expensive cash shop items - r9 gears, veno pets, etc. - non trade or non stashed to encourage others to purchase them.

Second, if it really is an issue of not having the time to take care of all the alts then why have all the alts to take care of? Doesn't make sense to me.

Third, the new skills are class specific. Are you trying to tell me that you have alts in the same class as your main to trade these skills to? Why? I know Demon and sage have unique skills for each class near end-game but it still seems redundant to me to have 2 chars in the same class in end-game.

    LOL PWIs mistake...

Putting different classes skills in the same window. b:chuckle

Seriously they already made the easy 80 skills tradeable and now your complaining that the others aren't? I like it this way. No one can buy their way to the new skills. b:pleased

    If you think about it...

If you have a sin and a BM for example, you would still have to start over on getting influence/prestige when you switch orders.

Think on the bright side, maybe this will give some fail plvlers a chance to read and test out their skills while they do these dailies...

The real issue is that you can't get more than set amount of influence/prestige per day. You people talk a lot about "working for these skills" but no matter how much you ARE willing to work, there's a LIMIT set by the game that you can't cross.

If one wants to grind all day to gain more influence/prestige for the books, LET THEM! This is still "working" in the game, not buying their way to it.

Remember all the OHT grinding you used to do in order to obtain those event equipments that you could never obtain before Anni packs came out? Or all those quests you did for R4? For once PWI puts out something practical to work towards and they put a limit on it.

This is a cheap way to get people to login. People still only afk/logoff once they've done the Morai dailies.
