im confused
the interval chance on g15 vana daggers is 5%
and the sac strike chance is 46.5% chance
whats the chance for both of them? getting one of the adds doesnt affect the chance of the other one, correct?

    The chance to get both of them is a bit more than that.

    Firstly:
    You got 2 mods, either of them can be the -0.05, so the odds of getting a single -0.05 are 2 * 0.05

    Secondly:
    The Sac is indeed separate, but since it's independent, it's multiplicative.

    Finally:
    The odds would thus be:
    1/(0.1*0.465) = 1/0.0465 = ~1/22

    i didnt know the two adds affect each other, interesting.
    going buy that what would be better g15 nirvana or r8 recast? i cant afford a ton of rerolls and i saw the r8 recast dagger would have slightly higher damage with no refines.

    The recast R8 doesn't only suffer from ridiculous reroll costs, but I hear the Damascene Ore is also problematic.

    Not in the way you think. It's just that there's more mods specified and thus the odds of scoring any given combination is lower.
