Facebook Not Cool Anymore

Facebook started its new security screening.. spying more like it. But anyhoo.. the accounts are being turned off. This really bytes for us gamers as we have many accounts for many games and this facebook connect for jones does not do us any good. 14 characters and 1 phone number so the prying eyes of big brother can check on us. So how about drop the facebook connect and just give us options to use the other connects or just go back to letting us get jones from jones.

This big brother **** starting to mess with the games. link building use other connects facebook is going down anyway.

    Someone (sorry i forget who) had a great idea that Jone's Blessings could be bought with DQ points from DQ page , when this whole facebook phone number thing started happening .

    I +1 this idea

    Edit : Or the idea OP had, Jone's Blessing directly from the Jolly Jones NPC again

    Facebook isn't getting my phone number no matter how much they want it.

    I seriously doubt that would ever happen. The whole point of the Facebook thing is that they want the free advertising on your Facebook page.

    Seriously tho, can always buy a new number, here you can get like a number for as much as 2 euros, which is what, 3USD?

    Register with it or w/e it needs your phone number for, take your new number out of your phone, thrash it, put real one in, hope that will be possible but then again - I still need a phone and all of this sounds as way too much work just to get a blessing?!? oO

    :O live where i live,register with the do not call registry...make yer phone number private (landline) and have a cell for personal use :D good way to sidestep problems like that (also,neither facebook nor google has me phone number)

    By this logic, FB would have your home phone number too by just visting the site on your home pc. Your phone and your home pc have a unique IP address, FB dosernt have your phone number by visting from your phone, it has your IP address.

    Most people use fake accounts for the blessing anyway.

    But yeah, fb went to hell ages ago. Only time I bother logging on is when a friend begs me to talk on that fb instant messenger thing when they're at work or w/e.

    The blessing thing was nice when you could get like 8 a day. Logging on fb once a week is already way to much for me, so not getting them anymore.

    Just remove the damn things from the game, put them in dq or make it some quest reward. Tbh, I don't really care much about fb or the blessing.

    Pshh, Facebook was NEVER cool to me. It's just beyond boring - Lemme like this post, lemme add this stalker, "I know she did not just post this on her page!", etc~ I don't know, it just isn't my cup-o-tea. Myspace was the best, when it was owned by Tom anyway. Glad people are starting to see the truth. b:chuckle

    That's precisely what I did. That facebook page is blank. No contacts, no visits. And every once in a while the fake email address I used gets spam with the fake name I used on the fake facebook page.

    No, they do not have my phone number and they are not ever going to get it.
