Password change issue

I tried to change my pass earlier, since a new one is due. But I end up getting 'The password you entered does not match your current one.'

I'm 100% certain I typed it correctly. I can log into the website and game with that password.

What the hell is up with this? .-.

    I would ask if you:

    Tried again
    Cleared cache/cookies/history/form data, etc
    Shutdown the browser
    Used a different browser

    After that, idk what to say.

    I cleared all cache.
    Restarted firefox.
    Tried internet explorer.

    Still the same error. b:surrender

    same problem and some one else in faction having same issue.

    changed password can log in to forum with new passwoed but game gives WRONG NAME OR PASSWORD with old and new passwordb:sadb:sad

    Same here...
    as you can see, i can log in website, forum (prob you can even charge zen)
    but cant access game, not even with OLD password... changed, reseted, etc...
    nothing work....

    the problem is ingame not in forums...
    we can access website with new password. log out, login, etc...
    but INGAME, nothing to do.

    would be RLY nice to get an answer :D

    Unlike you guys, I can't even change mine o_o It just tells me the old pass does not match with the curent pass while I can log into the site/game just fine with the old pass.

    I'm having the same issue. I've changed the password. I can login to forum with new password, but not to the game. Always showing the "Incorrect user name or password" though I typed correctly both old and new password... pfff.

    May be PerfectWorld just want us to charge zen through website, but not to play game. :D

    I've been trying to change the email address associated with this account and they verification email they are supposedly sending never comes.

    I was about to say **** it and just change my password, glad I saw this thread first.

    Have you changed your password since they fixed the error?

    I tried to after I saw the message that it's fixed. But same as before. Site claims the old password I type is not right. I know it is. b:surrender

    So after pming frankie and getting ignored I submitted ticket.

    Got an answer after a few days giving me a link to a site to completely reset my pass without having to to type the old password. (I tried that before but it told me my e-amil address didn't exist)
    This worked according to the site. Funnily, I couldn't log into the game anymore.
    So I tried changing it again to something else, which worked.

    And I know why. The new password I had picked was 16 letters long. The site says 6-14 letters. However, it accepted my 16 letters just fine and confirmed them. But the game doesn't accept anything past 14 letters it seems.
    So yea, nice programming error on the site. b:surrender

    Wish my wife was this lucky. her password is only 10 long and she has changed it four times and it still says its incorrect
