hey PWI whats going on?!

Lot of people are getting keylogged and **** all over the Dreamweaver! cant you do something! you keep saying report and only tell them to change password/email etc etc yet cant restore their stolen stuff! Dont you keep a record of people Toon of gears and cant you trance the people's IP of who had access before the authorize logger goes in? If this keeps up and doesnt get under control, you will start losing players! its already spreading like wild fireb:angry

    Don't go to third party sites, yo. And, you're probably better off sending in evidence to support with things like screenshots. I highly doubt they're watching all the wc's all the time.

    I'm actually willing to bet this has something to do with the massive amount of issuees that have been going on today. IE: 403 Forbidden shenanigans .

    An interesting theory, but I'm not sure that's the case as OP was referring to people going to phishing sites, and this is some weird business with the website that seems to be effecting more than just pwi. Since the issue seen in the launcher is stuff about servers and ports, I think this is more of a back end issue. Let's not jump to conclusions and give petty little "hackers" any kind of actual credit.

    Well, if PWI's servers are being DDOS'd, that means that someone has access to them to send packets, meaning that bobo might be on to something.

    It's all speculation, but still.

    Either that or the entirety of Dreamweaver was clicking Kurt's phishing links and/or emailed him their info for free stuff. That's possible too.

    Might have something to do with that autofarming program that some noname alt keeps spamming the forum with. there no such thing as free gold... on pwi.

    And nobody is getting their accoumt stolen via a ddos attaxk on the servers, it just doesnt work like that

    damn it... ive getting pms from my friends and keeping count that there is already more than BLOODY 20+ people getting ****/keylogged!!!b:angry

    5 of my best friend were in the name of the list!!b:cry

    2 of they said they are gonna QUIT PWI cuz of this incidentb:surrender

    delete all ur cookies from ur internet browser and change ur passwords, DO NOT go to any 3rd party sites offering free ways for zhen, gear, etc or its ur on fault for getting ****, if u happened to download anything at all before the incident delete it and as a final touch i would scan ur comp with ur virus scanning software. there really isn't much gms can do unless u have 100% proof that someone is the culprit, ip bans r not common because someone can access ur account from a dormitory or library etc wich would ban all comps on that net work.

    If anyone is getting robbed because of their greediness over free items, I have zero sympathy to them, they deserved it.
    If they want to quit because of that, please do. now.

    Every ****ING day, PWI says you "For your account safety, we recomend you to change your password often"
    Also, stop searching for glitches, exploits, hacks and cheats for PWI and you wont get ****.

    I am a fair player and my password's always safe. I share account with a friend, though I know where he lives and he knows, if he steals me, he'll get a gunshot to his face.

    This. Minus the last bit. You shouldn't admit to sharing your account, account sharing is against TOS and can get you banned.

    But as for the rest of this post, spot on. Be smart. Don't even LOAD sites that are being spammed in PWI. When you simply load a site you are downloading things to your computer. Some sites make it so a keylogger is part of what you automatically download when you visit.

    And, of course, never enter your password into another site for any reason. Hell, I even double check the URL before I log in to any site. People like to clone sites and create fakes that look like the real thing.

    I've gear/bank protection on, all coins r at banker, all gear is bound. In addition i never use 3rd company tools/hacks/websites. Hackers dont have a chance to get anything from my accounts. PWI has a very good, non-hackable in-game protection, just use it.

    wish if i remember prevent **** while the duration stand might be wrong dont play anymore.

    I'm LVL 100 today, I got no help on getting this far, neither on gear, skills nor in experience.
    Just to add: It's a good Idea to put a password on the banker (different from your accounts password), thus, your gear column will be locked until you type this password, thus, making your equipped gear unequipable, as well as protecting everything you got in the bank.

    Also, the usage of Binding charms on definitive gears is a must have.
    This guy who has my password is my friend for lots of years and we only use each other account for buffing, each of us got lvl, skill, rep, gear by own.
