    The tone was set for this daily disappointment with the first pack I opened. My barb got a female fashion set. I looked at it and said "ahh, I see"

    however I like the torture of let downs and teases, so I have been doing this stuff on 11 toons for the silver ones and 4 toons for the gold. To date I have gotten across all of them: 23 piggy pets, 16 turtle pets, 7 small spirit charms, 4 small HP charms, 5 tokens, 405 fantasy fruit bags 2 training eso, lost count of timed fashion.

    I have also been doing the Treasure Hunt on 4 toons, and have yet to make it past map 2

    Conclusion: For me at least Chance=no chance on PWIb:cry

    On the bright side, this HAS taught me that in no way shape or form will it ever be worth it for me to purchase packs under any ciscumstances

    My luck must REALLY suck or PW hates me. are the only two explanations I can think of LOL.

    Im guessing I got the scroll of tome.. It gave me a scroll that gave me 200k exp and 45k spirit

    In archo and maybe in another towns are new NPC. In south archo opposite to banker. You can take quest from them. One is it 21.00 server time and one is at 20.00 server time. After you wait 9 and 30 minutes they give you chest. You open it and win something.

    To anyone that has received the scroll of tome. How did it work? Is it a weird new quest for like Wang Tsai or someone that prevents the resulting item from being stashed or traded? Or is only the scroll itself bound in anyway? For example, the fashion is character bound when you get the box. But once you open the box you can account stash it? I would assume it's just a scroll you can trade in for a tome that is at the very least account stashable, but IDK.

    idk about wang but i do know scroll of tomes can get a high lvl tome at the boutique agent (+45 stats). it might just be a gift box to open. i've gotten useless stuff and i'm super hoping for that scroll

    i dont understand how this works....is only one character per account/IP allowed to get a box from the NPC? i tried it with my barb this morning, and he got fruit. i switched to my other account, to see what my mystic might get, and none of the NPCs had gold shields up.

    whats the story on this?

    Missed the time, not high enough cult, or it was bugged. I did them on 6 chars on 2 different acc's, no problems besides not get love up and down b:chuckle

    One thing I hate tho, the timer only runs while you are logged in

    You can take the quest on all toons level 20 or higher. The quests for each box are only available to take at certain times. 8-9PM server time to get the silver box, 9-10 server time to get the gold. After taking the silver box quest, you have to let the timer run down for ten minutes, Your toon has to be logged in for the timer to count down. After the timer has run out, you can then talk to the NPC again to get the box. For the gold box, you need to have your toon logged in for 30 minutes.

    I have a total of 12 toons that are level 20 and above. You have to take the quests during the times listed above, but you can let the timer run out and turn in for the reward at any time of the day.

    What I do is: I take the silver quests on all the toons that I can, then let the timers run one at a time while I do other things (currently re-reading a comic book series) at 9 PM I take the gold quests on the three characters I do dailies on, so that the timers will run as I am doing dailies the next day, then take the gold on three other toons and let the gold and silver timers run down on those at the same time

    Once that is done, I go back and open all the boxes I have collected. I then spend half an hour raging and wiping away the bitter tears of disappointment over not have gotten a damn thing out of them and wasting all that time. at 8 PM the next day I convince myself that THIS time I will get something useful and start the cycle of self punishment again.

    yes. those servers, those for people with a limited horizon. those who are not even able to communicate in english on a lower lvl
    that server with bad translations on every item
    (momaganon)

    no thanks. i rather play with people from all over the world
    and i think the translations are silly to some point

    but those little things, like timing events that badly do bug me
    i mean ..its not like tw... it doesnt need to be fixed time....
