can Mystic pet be better than Hercules ?

So a friend in RT told me there's a mystic there who went HA and made a very refined set based on pysical resistance and he can (pet)tank a TT on group mode as good as Hercules.

Anyone can confirm that? i dunno how i calculate pet status based on equips ,nor how much defense and HP has and buffed herc...

    Mystic pets aren't really meant to tank like veno pets are. Like, after you get out of the lower levels, you really should be tanking with your mystic and not the pet.

    You don't need to be HA :O You just gotta have a **** load def lvls :P Ik i can deal more damage then a herc but herc will still hold aggro because of aggro skilllss XD

    yeah, the pets have their base stats from their skill lvl then additions based on your gear. so it is possible if you get the gear the with defences especially if you had jades or something like that you could very well have a devil chihyu tanking as well as one if not better since we can adjust our pets stats and a venos are fixed

    No mystic pet will be able to tank like the herc does. Big difference is that the herc has skills that enhance it's pdef and mdef. Def lvls work, but take in mind that for example if you have 30 def lvls on your character, it will only be 15 def lvls for your pet. Your pet only gets 50% of your total def and atk lvls. So if you have 30 DEF, your pet will only get 15, which is 15% better defence, and honestly i can't see how that beats a herc.

    mystic pets can out DD a venos, but that doesnt matter, herc has agro skills which have been mentioned. so it cant happen unless its like the last boss in casters with that buff that makes my missy hit for 50k.
