punishing sting - higher lvl more dmg?

i read in one guide that higher lvl of punishing sting DONT do more dmg... anyone can confirm it? tnx

    I can't really answer this since Punishing Sting was the last thing I leveled and I just went straight from level 1 - 10 with it and never really used it, I do sometimes throw it down now though and just lyse it for AoE damage but I never pay attention to what it hits.

    What level is your Punishing Sting now? If it is still level 1 just try it out on a mob and get it to level 2, it does not require a lot of spirit/coins.

    I think it does, not sure how much it increases form one lvl to the next since I got mine from level 3 to 10 in one go. Right now for me it hits 700 something around mobs.

    yes it does,all the summons base stats including plants increase as you lvl it up,not sure if it affects all plants or just some but attacking ones do get more damage when lvld up. i dont think the damage difference is very big for the plant though

    ty for reply everyone... didnt want to spend spirit, couse im lack of it anyway, but i will give it a shot and lvl that plant... tnx

    My level 1 Punishing Sting could not kill heads, in one shot at least.
    My level 10 Punishing Sting can.

    This was done using the same weapon for both. I just tried Punishing Sting at the heads in FF once then leveled it up to 10 and tried again.

    it does but even at lvl 10 its dmg is a non factor unless u lyse it for aoe.
