hi al....look...when i was playing my game get crazy ..... it enters an visual bug and i can't see anything nd after this my desktop turn's blue and my pc restart or my pc is frozen :S .... can anyone tell me wath happen plz ??

    Have you updated directx? The new expansion requires directx v9.0c functionality, which is fairly old, but may not be installed on a new PC.

    I've quit excluding TW for my faction. But I still hang around to help out those who still enjoy the game under PWEs horrific handling and to have fun in the forums. b:cute

    bottom line is that this expansion is **** up the PCs of many of us. it seems to be the fault of Microsoft and PWE not working together. it does seem to be a vid card issue, but what is so infuriating is that it doesnt matter how new your PC is, it still doesnt work. my son has to cobble together a fix for my PC, but it is a lousy one, only windowed version works, and with a cursor from my husband's unupdated version.

    Okay, since nobody in here seem to have a freaking CLUE, I will make an attempt.

    OP, please go find the box for your new video card.

    Is it an AMD/ATI, or a NVIDIA?

    Once you've figured that out, find the model.

    Now, go to AMD or NVIDIA's website and click 'update drivers'.

    Click the appropriate options to get to video cards, and find your model (or series).

    Download and install the drivers for your video card.

    Restart your computer.

    Reinstall the DirectX runtime files package.

    Restart your computer.

    Try playing again.

    If it is still giving you visual glitches, contact the place you purchased your video card from and ask for an RMA as your video card is defective.
