My esteemed colleague and I have been discussing this food in the boutique. We have determined that crab meat doesn't appeal to the masses and instead should be changed to: Chicken Meat Jiaozi. I find that people would be more inclined to buy it because chicken is a basic flavor that appeals to the masses. It would be a fun change to the game in my opinion. I was wondering what the rest of the PWI universe believes. With your help, we can have chicken instead of crab!

well if you really wanna go that way...
"jiaozi" is really just the Chinese pronunciation for "dumpling" (why they don't call it crab meat dumpling is still beyond me)
Chinese dumplings are usually made out of pork
so I vote for option 4: pork jiaozi b:surrender

    Fillings in Dumplings

Common dumpling meat fillings include pork, mutton, beef, CHICKEN, fish, and shrimp which are usually mixed with chopped vegetables. Popular vegetable fillings include cabbage, scallion (spring onions), leek, and garlic chives. Dumplings are eaten with a soy sauce-based dipping sauce that may include vinegar, garlic, ginger, rice wine, hot sauce, and sesame oil.

It can be chicken, but it usually is pork. Besides I don't personally like pork.

The jiaozi should come with vegetarian and kosher options.

I must agree with Jack since it was my original posting on Worldchat that because I am allergic to seafood I thought it should be changed to chicken. Not to mention that it is odd to me that tideborns eating crab for HP is okay in PWI. Think about this for a minute. Ijs.

How is that weird? They aren't crabs, they are fish! And besides, all manner of sea life eat other manners of sea life, it's natural.

Personally I'm voting for Dog Meat Jiaozi. Never had it in a dumpling but I oh so love BBQ Dog Chops.

Some crabs are arachnids, and many people compare that to spiders. Tarantula meat Jiaozi doesn't have the same ring to it and needs to be changed in my opinion. Dog meat would also be an unpopular choice in the United States at least. Remember to cast your vote on other if you don't like the chicken or crab option!

Could I perhaps suggest a range of Dumplings with novel fillings inspired by dishes across the world? For example: Beef Wellington Jiaozi, Fish and Chip Jiaozi, Salsa Chicken Burrito Jiaozi and Spaghetti Bolognase Jiaozi b:chuckle

Oh they make for an absolutely superb meal when cooked. Take a bite into one of them and it's like eating a crunchy, then soft...actually, kind of like crab. Legend has it, that if you eat a pregnant tarantula alive, the eggs will hatch in the stomach and make their way out through the trachea. We can't have people in PWI coughing up spiders all day long (no matter how interesting of a site this would be).

Thanks for voting all who have taken the time too. Hate to see the "other" category winning at the moment.b:surrender

Exactly, this is why chicken meat jiaozi should be the preferred dish of level 75+s everywhere. Crab is also pricey compared to most foods, and the change may incite a belief that the previously known crab meat has become cheaper. PWI could sell so much more! Either that, or change herb yuanxiao to soy so I have something to dip the jiaozi in.
