so me and my ingame wife have been working towards 89 for a long time now, its her first char to become sage/demon and we were very excited to her becoming sage. unfortunately she didn't check which NPC she talked to when she did reach 89, and regrettably choose demon. Now i'm aware that truly sucks for her, and as im typing this...anyone and anything near her are feeling her untamed wrath and fury. I was wondering if a really kind GM in a really kind mood could somehow reverse her choice and point her in the direction of the sage NPC , she has been very faithful to this game, it would be a great shame to lose her.

if a GM can help with this ( we live in hope) please message me and i'll get you and her in contact.Thank you.

They can't and won't, especially since if you complete your 100 culti (Wraiths ploy and the OHT maps) you can switch with an ingame mechanic now.

Sorry, she should've read the big capital letters. Be thankful it's not 2 years back when it would have been a permanent choice.
I've quit excluding TW for my faction. But I still hang around to help out those who still enjoy the game under PWEs horrific handling and to have fun in the forums. b:cute
#Shame about PWEs absolutely craptastic handling of the goons glitching. Remember kids, there's no punishment for breaking the rules here!#
If you make a valid complaint, your thread will disapear. Don't post it here, post it on other sites where PW can't hide it.

as far as i know, gms wont change your culti for you.

but there is an item you can buy to change your culti over. only thing is, you need to be lvl 100 and have your 3rd fairy >_>

Then again nowadays it's clearly faster to level 1-89 than 89-100. Not to mention doing the level 100 culti. Hell I can't even find FCC squads for my 93 Archer anymore, everyone's too damn busy buying heads.

You telling me to hypergrind 93-100? I dunno, that might be about as fast as my next best options, which are:
    1. Level my shop cleric to 75, soloing FCC with my sin and doing heads with my Archer.
    2. Merchanting until I get utterly bored and simply spambuying heads to 100 for no real reason.

Well I was gonna post a screen shot of the Conversion Executor in 1KS.... But what's this? A Celestial chism? Dafuq.

Googled it, found an old thread talking about OHT maps, bosses after bosses.....

    =l F*** that s***.

Agreed with the others, unless you had BIG plans about going Sage, **** it and stay demon.

I don't know...if she's unleashing untamed wrath and fury I'd say she fits as a Demon. Sages are not supposed to feel according to the game's story.

It asks you not once, but twice if you are sure you want to choose this path. It also tells you there is no going back. I really have no sympathy for people who choose to rush through their quests without reading. Kind of like the lvl 39 culti where you have to die to move on. At level 40 and 50 people are still wondering why they haven't got another culti quest. Seriously.. just read what you are clicking.

That being said, I agree with those who say be glad it isn't like a few years ago when once you chose u couldn't change at all. At least now you have that option.

You are either a troll (which is annoying, say rank 8 level) or just a really annoying person who thinks the rules don't apply to them (rank 9 level annoying).

Like everyone else has pointed out, if you both were that concerned about it you would have paid attention when you were asked at least twice which path you were taking.

Now if it is really still that important, man up, and buy enough Zen to fix it, or farm enough credits to fix it, other wise get used to Demon.

It Clearly says its DEMON and asks you if you are sure that Demon is the path you want, if she dont read the convos then there is noone else to blame but herself.
However you can change from Demon to sage at lvl 100, but all the Demon skills you learned will be removed.

    Hey krulx,

As far as I know, GMs do not revert players' spiritual cultivation choices, however, submitting a ticket can't hurt.

I'm also sorry that we won't see you in these forums again, since most of the rest of the posters here have done their best to make you regret even asking the question. Haha, if you submit a ticket, don't count on GM's changing your culti, don't expect a response within 6 weeks, and don't expect it to be an actual human response rather than a generic premade one.

I think the response from the general public might have been different if he had just asked if there was a way to change it. Its just the way he went about it that likely rubbed the largest portion of us the wrong way. I'm not a troll, I'm not cranky. I'm just unsympathetic that an adult chooses not to read something not once, but twice; and then regrets what they did. That is just life, you live and learn.

Yea you're SOL on that. I did the same on my bm. I went afk and hit autopath to the sage one. I came back, not looking at the NPC and took the quest. Turns out if you autopath to the sage one, you get stuck on the Demon one and then you're SOL. Have to do 100 culti and your chrono to switch over.

He wont get trolled if he didnt write this part: "it would be a great shame to lose her." lol? who do they think they are? That is a soft threat to the GM, moreover, the stupidity is done by herself. So, yeah.

b:bye bye to OP & your wife.
and also, the response you'll get from ticket is:

"Here's the link to the culti 100, and then buy the Mold from Cash Shop to switch it to Sage! tadaa"

well, most people saying your screwed, but it really depends... if she hasnt completed the cultivation, which would be done in the FB89, she still has a chance. Technically you should be able to have her trash teh culti and can then change her path to sage right now.
However if you did do her fb89 and finished her culti, then yes you're screwed. Yes there is the whole conversion thing, but unless you have someone who can solo all bosses in twilight temple 3-2, and able to do GV wave 4, 5, and full GV at least twice, on top of a **** load of other stuff you will need to finish her lvl 100 cultivation, get used to demon.
You didnt mention her class but for most characters in this game demon is a very good choice. Im not saying sage is bad, but demon has a lot of perks as well.

yeah whats worse is after that I said whatever and went on leveling my seeker and got some demon books to open I opened the book and got the skill I was aiming for Yataghan Vortex... only 1 thing.... IT WAS SAGE from a demon book pack.

I submitted a ticket on it and guess what they said to me.

"This is a known problem when it is resolved you can try again."

.... so I have to buy more tokens and hope I get the rare skill book again? and yet this was back when they were advanced mystical pages instead of pages of fate. So after that my guild saved up the tokens to just get me all the skills at once and finally got the vortex for demon.

I would say thanks to the responses but it seems alot of you take master class's in being **** bags. Im no troll and im no noob to the game, i lvled properly to 101 and hate how stupidly easy it is to reach 100 now.

Im not interested in people saying the things you did, if it had happened to you guys you wouldn't as outright rude as you were. It turns out demon was the best choice for her after all (she's a veno) and thankfully im not on the same server as most of you who find it in their best interests to be as cruel as possible when someone was asking an honest question.

To the few of you who posted kinder responses , thank you.
