Does anyone else have epic lag on the log-in screen? I'm not QQing or anything, just wondering if it's some fluke between the client and my PC. When the log-in screen comes up, it's really slow as the book appears and then opens. When I finally do type in my screen name and password, there's considerable delay between my typing and it showing up on screen.

    Yup got the same thing going on since expansion. Laggy logging screen. And directx is updated.

    Yes! I'm not crazy! Also updated directx and still have the issue. Not really a big deal though.

    I have directx updated as well, so obviously that's not the issue. Good to know it's not just my PC. I was pretty sure it wasn't, but it doesn't hurt to ask. If anyone happens to know a fix for the lag, I'd love to know. It's no huge thing, just a little bothersome when I hit the wrong key.

    Same thing... I guess our pc's are just getting too outdated for the game... Next expension or maybe the one after that we'll be screwed... Unless we can cough up money somehow to buy a better one...

    My PC is definitely not too old for the game. My videocard isn't the absolute best, but everything else is. The tower is hardly a year old, I just maxed out my RAM this Christmas. I keep all the software updated. That's why I doubted it was my computer to begin with, barring a compatibility issue. The rest of the game still runs fine for me, it's just that log-in screen, so I'm not all that worried.

    seems like this loading screen would be less laggy than compared to the old one ... but no i dont have any problem with it ><
