Yeh pwi really dropped the ball on this one, they must consider a comp with Win7 on it to be "old"

I can offer some help at least (better than the stupid sticky thread and its broken DX9 installer).

They spent well over 6 months testing the things that were released in this expansion. Some of it has been on the beta test servers for over a year. So far the only real "problems" with the patch are with users that no longer meet the minimum system requirements because PW updated the core of the client to meet standards that were new 10 years ago.

This is not entirely true as u see what he stated he has dx11 and i myself have had to help many other friends fix this problem where the game is seeing dx11 is a problem,To my understand dx 11 is higher and does support better things and they only recently updated to 9.c.This is not on user side prblems its got to do with game engine,ive had some friends that have actually had to redownload thier dx becoz game is showin up as 11 is a problem

We're talking about 2-3 year old computers here, not ancient monsters with big CRT screens and a whopping 512mb ram.

And again, a lot of people are experiencing these problems on *WINDOWS 7*
Windows 7 didn't even exist 5-6 years ago.

Are you F****ng ****? 6 months? Year? They made up few skills and new instance with ultra-low texture as a ground, They made it in probably a month and 1-2 weeks at MOST, there were no testing. They put it on Test server to see if something crashes, that's it! And that's how they care for PWI, keep it alive with useless stuff just to earn money on boutique, Trials? Wedding chapel? Warsoul weapons , how many updates are just fashion? I'd say 4/5. And when they just can't suck any more out of players they will release some lame memorial video and shut the game grinning at players ''Sorry, no refunds, kiss our ***'' because when a poor guy goes to buy his first TT weapon price tag will show 65 millions because game is unbalanced either with economy and newer classes and they make silly ''errors'' like enabling PK in Secret Passage so Rank 9 players can pick on lvl 20 guy doing weapon token quest?. So shut the **** up thinking there is something going on in their office they sit and count money or just rewriting code just to make sale every week and putting ''Changed name of this thing'' on Patch notes. This game is dead and it's only theirs fault for being greedy, putting items that overpower players against F2P ones. So move on other games, there is bunch of new ones coming for example Guild Waars 2 (Purpose typo, censoring). I log on every once a while just to see how people cry in World chat and gold prices going insane, when I joined 1 gold = 100k, today you would laugh at me rather than trying to believe. the game is running on element engine which is simply OLD and sucks up CPU because back then dedicated Graphic cards were rare, so no, your computer doesn't suck, It's the game, not clear? Put settings on maximum and see how smooth game runs, Crappy eh? lower resolution to see if it helps...It won't it's because core engine DOES NOT USE FULL POTENTIAL of whatever pc you have. Yes they could optimize it to run smoothly, it would take a lot of rewriting but it's possible..but, hold on. They don't care! even Blizzard updated some graphics over time, and few other MMOs we are forbidden to mention on this forum, freedom of speech eh? forgot this is chinese game.
