There's no reason for a lot of the redundant topics to appear. Whats funny is that they're usally are about the same pertinent issue(s)...which are likely already on the front page.Seriously people.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Remember: OP may be a duck|OP/GMs/Devs may not deliver|Search function is your friend|Lurk more|Be wary of Mods: they can't be trusted|This place isn't a hugbox|Your tears sustain me|Know what Bait is|"Soon" may never come|Postcount, Dubs, and other GETs are important|Don't revive long dead threads|There is a section for everything|You can be banned for anything|No Fun Allowed outside of OT|Sweetiebot rules OT|"Circlejerks" are inevitable|Threads can be derailed and saved|Those who use"XD" should off themselves at their earliest convenience|0 -

You guys do realize that you are part of the pwi community and when you insult their intelligence that you are insulting yourself too right?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Everything has its beginnings, but it doesn't start at one. It starts long before that... The world is born From zero. The moment zero becomes one is the moment the world springs to life. One becomes 2. 2 becomes 10. 10 becomes 100. taking it all back to one solves nothing. so long as zero remains... One.. Will eventually grow to 100 again.0 -

It's not our fault that the collective (lack of) intelligence of the majority around here brings down the overall average of the group. Every community has its idiots. It's just that some have more idiocy than competence.0 -

What more bothers me is not that they don't read it. That they feel the need to start a billion threads as if their opinion is so important that THEY have to be the OP so everyone sees it first.
But really...
No one really gives a rodents tiny pink bodily exit sphincter about their thread. Just like I don't really give one about this thread even though I'm posting in it.0 -
Food for thought on what you apparently consider to be an excessive amount of complaining.
If there were not an excessive amount of problems that are ignored / not responded to / unaddressed / responded to in a wholly inadequate fashion, then there would likely be far less to complain about.
The analogy is of the married couple where the husband says: "Why do you always incessantly complain every time I beat you?" Wife says: "stop beating me and I wont have any cause to complain about it"
Furthermore it seems likely that duplicate threads also occur for two more legitimate reasons.
Firstly some poster decides to hijack the thread on a side issue (often complaining about people QQ'ing...IJS)
Secondly people do it in a vain attempt to either elicit a response that was sadly absent from another similar post, or to rekindle something that has been given up on for the same sad lack of response.
Whilst it does indeed pay to read before posting and there is no argument there, when there are thousands...yes thousands of threads, the vast majority unaddressed, and the search feature is woefully inadequate, it becomes all too easy to miss the fact that a topic has been raised before.
Add to that the fact that newer players ( I think we still get some poor souls), see a problem and want to try to get it resolved. How are they to know after reading 30 pages of posts that it was originally posted as an issue 4 years ago and remains unaddressed?
Maybe they are naiive enough to think that in that length of time "surely it would have been fixed / sorted out"0 -
I think the vast majority of those QQing on the forums have a severe inferiority complex that's consuming them straight into the core of their souls. They must be real **** players if they're that obsessed about how others play.I **** bigger than you...

Thats fairly low grade trolling tbh. Isn't it odd that both yourself and the OP on this thread, who think that people post to merely get their post counts high, have wayyyyyy high post counts?
Lets be honest if post count is directly proportional to inferiority then you have to set your sights on attaining pond life status..ijs
Incidentally, although you posted over 300 times it seems you didnt devote much time to reading other peoples posts. A brief look at what is posted would reveal that the majority of posts have no bearing on how on how others play, but rather on game function problems. Guess you didnt read what the OP said about reading things...0 -

I've read though many threads QQing the same certain subject and noticed that in each of those threads it's mostly the same crybabies that are QQing. As for the newbies they could search, ask in game folk for answers or like me I use google search before I would ever make a thread of my own. In fact I think I started maybe 2 threads here in 4 years because someone has already addressed almost all the issues I've come across.
Sure I'll argue with someone about something but I'll leave my argument in that thread and not cross post my point to every other duplicate thread there is. Doing so is just plain noobish nonsense. Only thing I can post in duplicate threads are insults to the OPs and posters because it really is stupid, annoying, and somewhat frustrating to see the same **** in thread after thread from cross posting fools.
I'm glad Fuzzy closes all those duplicate threads.I **** bigger than you...

For certain there are some people who fit that description, no argument here. My point is that there are also many that do not. Like yourself in 4 years I would exhaust all resources before resorting to raising a thread. A very large proportion though, I still maintain, is down to the extremely poor customer service when someone has an issue. You know yourself there a great many things which have not worked correctly for years. Not only have they not worked, but no one even has the decency to respond / update /deliver on those issues.
Things break, errors happen, people are fallible. Most of us though, certainly any of us with a conscience and a degree of honesty and honour, will do our utmost to correct things, take time to respond to a question, and most importantly, will do what we say we will do.
Take a moment to look at any of the thousands of threads on here. What proportion of them have any input whatsoever from PW? I dont mean forum mods, their function is related to conduct on the forums, not issues in game as such. Of the extremely small percentage that DO have a pw response, how many of the responses actually address what has been raised as opposed to offering some sort of unrelated statement such as "we will have something very good for everyone soon". When you get down to the ones that have actual responses, that are actually related to the issue raised, what proportion of THOSE are the promises honoured ?
I suggest that the amount is in the decimal places of percentages. The vast majority of threads, legitimate threads with genuine issues, have post after post from players like you and I, and nothing but posts from players.
I am not saying that people do not post about trivia or things they can get solutions to elsewhere. What I am saying is that if even a few of the legitimate ones received the responses they deserve. it would deflate the whining.
Apart from anything else it would make the stupid posts stand out all the more with the genuine ones having been reduced by proper responses.0 -

If there are 10 forum goers, and you were to rate their logic on a scale of 1-10, and 9 of them are 1, the last is a 10, the average is still 2. Just because I am of the community, does not mean I'm here for the same reason, nor does it mean I am like the others. This is not to say I am anything special, but it is to say that not everyone is the same, the majority just brings us all down...It is said that apple pie is best served Al La Mode, so if you are the pie, consider me your ice cream.0
