Thank You! I have a few more questions. I want to play PWI: Rising Tide how do i download it? Whenever I go to the perfect world web site is always want me to down load PWI: Descent or PWI: Genesis And what is patching to another game? b:question

    PWI: Rising Tides is one of the older expansions.
    PWI: Genesis was what we had two weeks ago.
    PWI: Descent is the newest expansion.

    The game is the same, just that there's been some new content, e.g. new races, new areas, new quests and such added.

    I suppose there still are people who are not familiar with the concept of expansion packs.

    PWI:Decent IS PWI: Rising Tide. You have access to all the same stuff that came out in the Rising Tide expansion in Decent. Decent is just the most recent. You get all the classes, all the skills, all the stuff. =)

    By patching, she means updating. Download Decent, and when you start up the launcher it will automatically ask if you want to update. You have to update or else you can't play.

    just download the pwi game....the descent is it....rising tides was an old version....descent and the others added on to rising tides

    Just download and play PWI: Descent b:victory

    Its like: Perfect World. Then some new stuff came in and they decided to rename this Perfect World + New stuff to Perfect World International: The Lost Empire.

    Then new stuff came again and it was Perfect World International: Age of Spirits (when genies first came in)
    More new stuff came in, tideborn assassins and psychics were added to the existing game basis, so it was turned into Perfect World International: Rising Tide
    When Earthguards came to join the tideborns and the other 3 races of the game, it became Perfect World International: Genesis and now, with Morai stories and destruction of Elysium, we call this game as Perfect World International: Descent

    All these codenames are given to the same game, Descent is the lastest version of it, so get it and you'll be having all the features of the previous versions.
