hi! I'm a newbi and i need a little help with getting started.:)

Hi, I just made an account and I'm having trouble getting started. I sent an email to PWI before and have not gotten a reply back yet and it's been eight days! So i would like it if anyone could help by answering some of my questions,because i've been trying to figure out how the game works before i download it. I was wondering if Perfect world was all one game or different games. Are there different versions of the game? What is the difference between Perfect World International, Perfect World International: Rising Tides, Perfect World International: Genesis, and Perfect World International: Descent? Which Perfect World International has the winged elves that are discussed in the PWI - Dev Diary 4: The Winged Elves? If Perfect World is one Company with different versions of the games, then if you say download Perfect World International: Genesis do you have to download Perfect World International: Rising Tides in order to play it? Are all the races and classes on every version of the game? If different games, which games has the mermen Psychics, the mermaids Assassins, and the winged elves both the Archers and the Clerics? Please please help me!!! I'm trying to join and i don't know what to do. b:sad

    Well, the Perfect Worlds that you ahve mention are just updates on a previous one. Perfect World Descent is the last updated version.

    :Raging Tides, :Genesis, :Descent, are all just new expansions. It's the same game, retitled to let people know that a large quantity of new content has been released. (Expansions are free).

    Winged Elves: Cleric and Archer
    Untame: Barbarian and Venomancer
    Human: Blademaster and Wizard
    Tideborn: Assassin and psychic
    Earth Guard: Seeker and Mystic

    If you haven't already, just look at the top of the page, click on the "Download" tab and follow the instructions. If something doesn't make sense as first just think it through and use common sense, nothing is rocket science.b:bye

    Thank You! I have a few more questions. I want to play PWI: Rising Tide how do i download it? Whenever I go to the perfect world web site is always want me to down load PWI: Denscent or PWI: Genesis And what is patching to another game?

    If it prompts you to download Descent or Genesis just download it. Those are updated versions of the Raging Tide expansion. Patching simply means updating your game to the latest available version.

    Basically all you need to do is download PWI: Descent and run the game. It will prompt you to patch and update automatically. So no worries its pretty simple :D

    Yeah the software does all the work, it just needs your permission to execute. b:bye
