What is this new Friend Summon?

Had this pop up under the location bar...what is this? It blinks repeatedly and can't get it to go away...and tried sending one to another player and wouldn't let me. My other faction members found this too. It's annoying.b:surrender Anyway to make it disappear and is it a future mail system?

    I am seeing the same thing.... I decided to read it b
    and it was interesting ^.^ but yeah im guessing it might be a future mail thing, but it also might relate to the decent give away since i haven't got it yet

    It seems to be a new feature that will have active players send these messages to inactive players to get them to come back to the game. Only thing is...if they are inactive then how are they supposed to read the mail? b:puzzled

    It's to send a letter to someone you have in your friend list and didn't logged on since long time ago.
    You can see the time in the friends day.
    This new feature pops-up after minimize the map.
