Loading Screens for Descent

I'm not sure if this is in the right spot, if it isn't I'm sorry. I just wondered if there was a way to get the loading screens for Descent as wallpaper? I've tried screencapping them but it doesn't work. I always just get a blank picture (like black). Is there anyone that can do that or is there a place that I just haven't found that has them?

    I'd like them too, honestly...the one with the different classes on it is absolutely beautiful. I heard that Asterelle posted them some where under pretty good resolution so I'll be looking for those for you, but I have a feeling that I may be able to pull them from the game files like I did with the music I now have in my itunes. b:chuckle

    Yeah actually, somewhere around here on General Discussion there is a thread that has a link to some place where you can see all the loading screens. b:bye good luck finding it, it was pre-descent btw

    'pre-descent' meaning it's been buried by all the new threads talking about descent now

    D'AWWWW!!! Thank you!!!! <33333 I actually came up with the name 'cause I was talking to my fiance, and I meant to say Mentally ****...but for some reason I was backwards...

    I've also come up with "Contributation" which was supposed to be "Contribution" and "Contribute". xD



    And I'll have to scour through the forum than. I'll definitely look for it. (update: Still looking, but no luck so far.]

    The loading screens are indeed damn pretty :o (I like 2 of them really, one with a building being destroyed and one with a blue dragon :o)

    I wonder if they can't just put them under the tab media > wallpapers D:

    extract surfaces.pck from game directory (pwtools / sPCK)

    there should be 4:3 and 16:9 versions of screens

    Depends on OS but it's all about the same. Download the picture you want. Right click your desktop, click properties, click background, select change, find the pic you want in your files, select. Hit confirm. done.

    He's talking about an extracting program for pw's pck files.

    I won't say much more about it though since the tool is associated with private servers.

    Btw, I have all the loading screens uploaded (seeing as that imgur link only has 4:3 sizes). If you want more resolution sizes, such as widescreen, you can get them here.
