Will the Dark Abyss Mount be upgradable?

I noticed that the Dark Abyss Mount starts out at only 9.0 m/s speed, and that the Pet Manager doesn't have a choice for upgrading its speed via Galewind Spurs.

Will this mount ever be upgraded? I feel like a mount that requires 400 Attendance Sheets would start out at 10.0 m/s. I mean, even the free ones that come out at Anniversary time start out at 10.0.

It would be nice. I'm only 64 more days away from this, and am excited to see how it looks!

    Where? I see the Cosmos one and the one from Morai D:

    Because the one under Cosmos doesn't look like the Dark Abyss. Mainly because it says it's dye-able, there's a pink version of it, and it's 10/11 m/s, which is not what the Dark Abyss says ingame.

    Lovely necro, but I do have my Dark Abyss mount now. And its color scheme doesn't really match Octavia's that much XD

    Doesn't look like it'll be upgradable, but oh well. I'm going to collect them all. 2/5 down, all 3 Morai to go. XD

    I'm glad only one of them is buyable from other players.
