Absolute Domain? Why in the world

I want to know what's the reazon for nerfing Absolute Domain , and by nerfing i mean ruining the most important part of the skill wich was the friendly aoe effect. Just one Sane Reazon..

    I only had this skill for 2 weeks too. It felt cool saving people's lives.

    They also messed up the genies 'Relentless Courage' skill aswell, so now it doesn't enhance 1s APS attack Speed.......b:surrender

    My guess is that they messed up the {AD} skill intentionally, because we were all getting to good at keeping the (Tanks & Squadies) constantly spammed with it, in squads against Mass Mobs & Boss runs...... So they weren't getting as much money from the {boutique} for (HP charms) anymore, so they screwed with it, too force more coin from us.......b:sweat

    Just Gotta LuV! Their 'Consideration & Thoughtfulness!' for us, don't cha?!?!?!???.......b:spit

    Cause of assassin AOE stealth and psy aoe almost-AD.

    Duh.

    This was done to nerf one person using multiple characters to solo-farm instances, I imagine.
    I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

    It was done to model how the game has turned out (mmorpg -> first person shooter).

    Why Nerf AD. i have use that so many times to help save my squad when bosses are being royal *****. If my tank goes down and AD wont do nothing for me . I think it was better when AD was a squad AOE gives u enough time to save ur squad from a big wipe or to throw out that extra heal that will keep ur squad standing, I hit AD many times to save my tank or squad members.

    it still works fine its just not a group AOE

    i feel you on that but also accept the fact that the game has changed so

    lets find better ways of keeping ourselves alive

    us squishy barbs know how it is
    19k Hp and rising my goal is 20k unbuffed (would love 25k )

    Honestly this game is becoming worse and worse everyday, they talk about skill balancing yet when it comes to it, they don't even know where the hell to begin from in the first place.


    AD never left my genie to this day, as a cleric it used to be good putting up temporarily till I reput bb or when a team mate is in danger. What's even more ridiculous is that they kept it with same energy requirement and the long 2mins recharge.


    What pisses me off is they didn't even bother to change the skill description.


    Sorry PWE I lost respect in you as a company, totally careless and not serious.

    Don't you think it is a little far fetched to think so deep about a small detail (altho AD has a MAJOR usefulness) in the large scale picture of a MMO mechanics ?!!

    To be honest this is what I suspect too, but either way I think it brings more nuisance to most players than fixes the exploits of the rest.

    True Enough... But they Nerfed {AD} for some very Dubious *SS'd Reasons, which they still haven't bothered too let us know why the Devs did it, and probably never will.......b:lipcurl

    And until they bother to explain it to us, about their 'Supposed Logical reasons' for the Nerf Job... I, like Oh so many others. Will Happily Let my mind try and figure it out, from my own (Experience & Expertise) in the use of the {AD} skill...b:thanks

    Since I happily learned to use it in (Squads) as a 'Spam Buff' for easy runs, with Low 'Charm Rap*!' potential for R members.......    b:chuckle

    Because the squads I went on were Quite Good! At Using it that way... And didn't have to buy anymore 'New Charms' all that often, as a result of our own varying 'Combat Style' & 'Use' of {AD} in Battling & Runs.........b:mischievous



    But even though, I can still understand why you said what you said, even if you can't get my point of view aswell..... Since we've all gotten used to using {AD} in differing (Ways & Styles)...........b:pleased



    But also, never forget that 'Big Business & Capitalism' is always about Profit more! Then maintaining an 'Unmolested' Cunsumer base... They make themselves indespensable, and then, when they have their Consumer Market Share secured, they find ways to raise the profit margins, until their consumers gets wise to it.... Then they simply go back to duping peaple 'Again' in attempts to asway their consumer base again, with lil' 'tidbits & sales' until they got the consumer confidence base Up Again, just so they can do it all over again & 'Again & Again' unto 'Infinite AgNausium'.....


    Thats only been taught to us since (Basic Business-101) Courses.........LoLzzz

    the amount of money they would make of you buying a few more charms is negligable, i cant believe they would do it for that

    if they wanted more money, release 100 sets of packs for 22 gold again, and the will bank half a million in a few days

    How in the **** did you control mobs with absolute domain? Alpha works 100x better for that, ad only saved for a few seconds/prevented aoes from being dropped, which is a dumb skill to have when there are archer mobs after the cleric. Alpha male is the far superior skill to keep people from dying, namely the cleric, granted AD has it uses... alpha male has always been better, especially now that this skill isn't aoe anymore.     I had been starting to notice a correlation between BMs without Dragons and AD in GV. I think I now see why. b:shocked

    But yeah. AD doesn't save your cleric. It just postpones the inevitable a few seconds.

    I like the idea of the AD change eliminating some fail. I don't like the AD change overall, however. I guess it's time to learn a new skill on that spot on my AD genie.

    Quoted for truth. PWE is a gaming company, not a massive conspiracy to make $$$ in every single little action they make. While the decisions to balance some skills may seem a little unfair, most people calling them out on that are generally biased because it's a skill belonging to a class they play, or they just don't like having to adapt to the change. While it may cause players to spend $ elsewhere to be just as great as they were before, that was hardly the direct intention, the real intention was to make game play more diverse as it was supposed to be.
