Way to go PWI

11 1/2 hrs to download and install. Open game, click start, 1st page opens progress bar completes, 2nd page starts and then crashes. I went to add remove programs to remove game and reinstall but there is nothing in add remove programs. Wtf did you do to my computer? Now I may have to reinstall windows because of your update. GREAT JOB. NOT.

    <_< Did you wait for the Add Remove Programs to "populate the list"? b:sweat It takes about 3 minutes for mine to populate with all the programs, and mine is pretty much bare bones and PWI.

    How did you go about updating the game after you installed?

    to uninstall is not in your add/remove programs its in the pwi folder. and if uninstalled windows maybe you should you sholuld look around before you start crying and go change your tampon.

    1. If you think you have to re-install Windows because of a game update, throw away your computer now.

    your an idiot and a computer noob you don't uninstall pw through your add/remove programs you either go into the PW fold on your C: drive or go to the pw folder in your start bar big as day uninstall perfet world moron. But maybe it would be best if you did uninstall widows but do us all a favor and DON'T reinstall it

    War_Dawg- Really name calling. That is really professional. All I know is that my add remove programs would populate before I got the update now it won't. What would you say is the problem?? I would have found that the game was not in there and gone to the folder duhhhh. Maybe I should show you how much of a noob I am and send you virus.


    Jeremied - Yes I waited more than 10 mins. for the list to populate. I got the update when I opened pwi. The first time I started the new game it said that I didn't have directx 9. I went to dxdiag and I had directx 9. Reinstalled directx 9. The game will check version, I click start, new page opens, shows progress bar, it completes, new page opens and game crashes. I am verifying files right now and have downloaded the manual patch which I have on standby. If this doesn't work then I will ask for help. Checked for malware and viruses with Malwarebytes and AVG. Comp is clean according to them.

    AVG is well known for false-positives. Disable it while updating/patching, and add your game directory to the exceptions list. It will "clean" the game files in the background without notifying you and will result in a corrupt installation.
    (This is becoming more common with other anti-virus programs as well.)

    If you have to wait 10 min for your add/remove programs to populate then maybe your should consider upgrading or buying a new computer, or at least learning to maintain the one you have, and don't threaten me if you could figure out how to send somone a virus w/o their IP address or their email address you would have known better then to make a post like this.

    i had the game already & it updated perfectly fine , but all of a sudden it uninstalled itself & i'm wondering why . i downloaded that directx 9.0 thing still nothing , i manually download it but it wont work without wingzip or something like that now i downloaded the regular way & it said error now how the **** do i install the game ? i did everything it said to do & i'm getting pissed off i was waiting til the 15th its been 2 days now that i didn't play . & no one is helping me soo can someone HELP WITH THIS **** PLEASE
