PWI Descent Update

Hi I am using my thumbdrive to store Perfect World and I play from there too. However, currently I am installing the Descent update and the update progress bar seems to be moving so slowly that I am probably going to take hours to update it. Is this because I am downloading it in my thumbdrive? (When I first installed Perfect World, I could not download it on thumbdrive and had to transfer it from my computer after downloading from there.)

    It's not because of your thumb drive, the auto patcher is very slow as it verify files while updating.
