Cannot Enter Game

Since the Descent patch, when I try to log in to the game it fails to do anything and says Enter Game Fails. Following suggestions on forums, I have re-installed the game, updated my video driver, installed DirectX 9c. turned of windows firewall, and even copied the game files from my husband's computer where they work fine over to mine. I don't know what else to check that might be interfering with the game loading.

I have Windows XP, service pack 3, dual pentium processor, nvidea geforce 8500 gt vid card.

My husband has the same computer and it works fine. Mine worked fine until this patch.

Please help with suggestions.

Download: Microsoft Visual 2010 Express

"Enter game fails" o que falta una .dll?

I downloaded the C++ studio and it works perfectly now. A million thanks. I am really impressed that you were able to track the problem to that!

I used this link by the way and it worked just fine.

If it doesn't work you may need to try another browser. I was using Chrome.

Well, i tried Turning off the Firewall and my Antivirus when Enter game fail even after installing directx9.0c and microsoft c++ 2005, and that worked for me! Hope it does for u guys too b:victory
