My install is taking forever. Literally, I probably won't be able to launch the game for another 7 hours.(Dear IPS, I freaking hate you.) So I was just wondering if anyone had gotten their hands on a bone dragon yet, and would be willing to share screen shots and/or the coords for whereabouts it spawns.

And on an unrelated note. PW hates me and refuses to acknowledge the fact that I've been 101 for a while now. Q_Q

    Patch notes says the localized name is an Ancient Derjan's Hatchling. PWdatabase doesn't have anything yet.

    Have you tried re-setting your avatar? I understand that can fix a glitched avatar.

    From the patch notes:
    In central Morai lie the remnants of a long-forgotten elder dragon: Derjan. Derjan died valiantly to save his clutch of eggs. The eggs lied dormant and became fossilized with time, only to be brought to "life" by the magic seeping through Morai. Most of these fossilized hatchlings are tainted with spite for the living. Occasionally, a rare egg will hatch with an untainted hatchling. Will you locate and foster an Ancient Derjan's Hatchling with love?

    So somewhere in central Morai.

    Anybody run into anything else tameable?

    @ Mayfly - I considered that, but the last time I tinkered with my avatar it reset my post count. And I would srsface rage if it happened again.

    @ DevilNeko - I've been downloading now for six hours. I'm at maybe 60%-ish. So if it keeps going at this speed, I have to wait for roughly another 5 hours. Which is completely insane. People keep saying the manual patch is faster but I got an error when I tried running it on my external and I don't feel like risking wasting the last 6 hours of download time by canceling the automatic update to try manual.

    I actually got in there straight away and went exploring. I flew low and 'tabbed' all sort of mobs and could find nothing tameable - and that was from one end of the map to the other.

    I then went to the Dejan's spot (on the map its a big dinosaur skeleton) - there are lots of little Dino's running around and they are all untamable level 103's. Having said that someone was there before me - maybe they got the new pet.

    I ran through the whole area, again tabbing on all the mobs and could only find the same untamable Dino's.

    And, as yet pwdatabase isnt updated with all the new mobs.

    Oh and if anyone is bored and thinks to themselves - "I wonder what this 'Mutated Hu Hen' boss drops - hes 4mill plus, xp and you get 13xp and 13sp and no drops. (I only say that cause he's in the same place as the Dino's so you'll run into him)

    Still found nothing tameable in Morai...
    Been waiting at the central of the map to see if this Bone dragon will come but nothing so far. Anyone actually already saw the tameable version of the Bone mobs that run around there which aren't tameable? Starting to wonder if it really will excist since no one of all servers said they saw it so far.     b:surrender

    Still been looking and nothing so far * seen few other venos looking has well and nothing

    just hopping it hasnt been killed by someone thinking it was just a mob

    Or are we looking in the right place for it ???

    I think we are...Some guy i know who understands chinese said that that is the spot in their version. On the map where you see the skeleton.

    Just hope we didn't get fooled here cause I heard that you can get an all-class Dino pet from one of the orders. The screenies could have been taken that way.

    There is a mob that looks exactly like the pet, but so far according to the SS I saw the tameable one is much more bigger than the mob one, kinda giant!.
    I remember I read somewhere It spwans with guards mobs around, maybe i'm wrong x.x but it is 24-48hours, random spawn time, so maybe it didn't poped in any server still.
    Luminanace is the order where you can buy it as all class pet.

    I still haven't seen it. Went exploring last night and found all of the untameable mobs, killed a few of those. I, too, am worried about random players killing the tameable one thinking it's a normal mob. It's going to be tough enough for us to get our hands on one considering how rarely they're supposed to spawn.

    Has anyone gotten Bewitched yet? I'm wondering if it turns mobs into puff birds too, or just players. You had to admit, being in SOT and having Hellfire randomly turn into a puffbird would be funny as hell.

    I thought the puffbird skill was sir "Not appearing in this version".

    Also, what's gonna be really annoying, if that tamable DOES appear in the middle of those mobs - other classes can't see the tamable icon; and will probably just blow it up untilwe get it sorted out.

    24-48 hour respawn. It didn't show up at reset and I was there 3 minutes after server was up. Corona order has an all class pet that is the same thing, so the link was to the all-class pet not the tamable one.

    I think thats wrong because I saw the skill books in the Order list in fact i saw ALL of them things in the order lists. I dunno where that person got they weren't in yet :x

    But its going to be a few weeks before we see someone with something other then the basic skill.


    Ah I hope they don't kill it I know lots of players have an inkling to kill the random supposedly boss mob even if they don't need it. I really hope that isn't the case.

    If it spawns in the area where the little bone dinos are, it will be perma dead till we find the locs where it spawns and camp it. There are too many players doing quests that will kill anything that looks new.

    Yea I did the same as Traz, I was in morai right after maint was done. Saw only other player in the area. But nothing there.

    Been roaming the area since then but seen nothing ._. I want one! lol

    give it a week or so for everyone to do the quests in there and then we can have a really good look around for it

    ok here is the info i got from someone when i WC about the location... they said it was at the "mouth" of the dragon in the center of the map and it had a big glowing horn (different from the little dinos which have no such glowy horn) so i guess just camp the area till we see that mob (it's name Derjan's Ancient). The problem is that it's a rare pet (12-24 hour spawn) and tbh it could be better than a herc (it has less HP but more attack/mag def base than any 101 herc) and for a free pet it looks pretty epic from just looking at the stats (check the item list and search Derjan and you'll see the pet egg)

    The biggest problem about catching it... there are 2 bosses that are important for the golden quest chain in the SAME valley so you'll have to make sure no one else kills it before you tame it.

    Well, here's my question, -is- the pet legit? Like, has anyone actually got one on any of the servers yet or over in the China server, since they've had it longer? I'd hate to waste a bunch of time on something that someone just trolled up and edited some stat pics.

    I just tamed one in Lost City b:dirty

    At 8:25 AM server time. I just logged in after seeing the previous post.
    It DOES look exactly like the others and it was not in the mouth coords, it was pretty much on the tail, it was not walking or running around like other rare pets, it was just having the same behavior as the other dinos.

    There was a party killing a boss right there, I guess they didn't even noticed it, and I guess it spawned not too long ago cause it was not killed or tamed.
    My guess is that it re spawns like every other rare pet, 5 hours after the server is up.
    This week the server was up at 2:52 AM, so the pet should have spawned at 7:52, let's say 8AM to round it.
    That may be the spawn time, either everyday or every 2 days.
    This is a speculation after all but it makes sense... lol

    BTW I almost kill it b:shocked

    Boss? There's not a boss by the tail, at least not that I've seen.

    As far as I know it hasn't spawned on RT yet. I've been camped here for the past couple of hours.

    And, of course, there's the obnoxious veno who parked her flying mount right above my head and proceeded to try and use me to tell when the mob appeared. You'd think she'd realise it's pretty damn obvious when any time I move she goes flying after me. People who do **** like that should do us all a favour and just leave the game.

    I just did a search on pwdatabase and either there are 3 of those monsters or it could spawn in 3 places - have a look.


    ....glad they updated pwdatabase at last.....

    Thanks for the tip, Mage. I usually don't trust PWdatabase that much because they have so much outdated(Or invalid for the main servers) data on the site, plus I've noticed that some of their coords are wrong. But, hell, it can't hurt. b:chuckle
