enter game fails???

ok i auto patched to 612 clicked on start and where it says update complete turnes to enter game fails wtf?b:angry

    i been trying to get help with this issue to nobody know why i got my directx 9.0c updated but tryin to click the start button its sayin enter game fails

    i know right i got the direct x 9.0c and enter game fails...but my wifes computer can enter it and play with no problems

    that they will be doing a new game client installer soon if u look up in threads i hope that true because my directx 9.0c is working fine i know just i cant get pass the start to enter the game

    I have windows xp, downloaded the directx 9 and I'm verifying right now.
    Hopefully it works.
    If it does I'll post here how I got it to work.

    would appreciate it i copied the file off my wives comp (the 1 thats running pwi) and it still gave me same error

    how some people is updating the directx 9.0c and able to get in game i mean did every1 verify it first i need help i guess after that point since im still verifying my files now

    maybe some downloading manually or watever patching may have errors in them im thinkin because many are in game and many are having issues

    its working because im not getting that i need to update it i try to start game say enter game fails i verified files and nothing working still getting enter game fails hoping a solution soon

    Hi- I had same problem for hours also. When you click the start button you get game entry error. Reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ worked for me easily and many other people

    downloaded saved instaled restarted my computer still cant enter it fails this is giving me headache all day after maint i been tryin this

    I clicked on the uninstall button and that one worked better than any other of the solutions they gave to me.

    i think we guys have the same problem...
    am using:
    windows XP
    updated the direct9.0c
    game is in Welcome Screen

    and this is my problem
    When the "book" opens
    thats my lag and i cannot login
    game takes forever

    anyone can help me on this?

    Hi, Im using Win XP. when im update the new patch and trying to launch the game it says entering game fails. Then I re install and manually patched and try again but still it is same...what can i do? pls help me i installed directX 9.0c and also visual c++ also bt still it is same. PWI team or any other pls help us...!!!b:angryb:sadb:shockedb:cry

    Well, i tried Turning off the Firewall and my Antivirus when Enter game fail even after installing directx9.0c and microsoft c++ 2005, and that worked for me! Hope it does for u guys too b:victory

    Sry for my bad English.

    I had the same problem with pwi as you all.

    By updating my windows (With windows auto update) the problem disappeared and now I can play the game again.

    Maybe this salved the problem for a few of you guys an girls.
