Error in Descent Update?

I got an error after hours of waiting for the update to complete. Did anyone else have this issue? Something about d3dx9_42.dll being missing. b:sad

    ok so i have a slow internet connection atm to begin with...and i'm confused, i keep reading the posts and i'm seeing "no try it this way" or "it will work better if you try it this way"....ok, so honestly what IS the best way to DL the new expansion???!!!b:puzzled dam man... the last time a free mmo did such a huge update it was confuseing...and i just simply quit playing it....this is a fun game and i even know ppl who play this game IRL....hopefully i wont have to just find another mmobb:nosebleedb:scornb:irritated i wish i could just keep playing genesis untill i had a better connection....taakkeeeiiinnngggg soooo loonngg

    its been running all day rofl....almost there...i have a centameter to go woooooo!...only 2 to 3 more hours of waitingb:lipcurl but wait....i still dont even know wether or not its gonna work....i mean with all of these posts about it not working and allb:beg
