Okay thats it.
I had enough of this game, I am NOT waiting a week for this to be fixed and you CAN'T say its my computer I can tell you something IT ISNT
There are alot of people saying the SAME thing OVER AND FREAKING OVER.
It is pretty ovi your descent updates have a problem just don't want to admit it.
I'm just getting mad with this, I waited 10 hours for my client to download (litterly 10 hours thats how much I love this game) I was looking forward to playing today.
don't you think you should tell us and maybe even get the job faster done insted of telling us our problems.
Most of us like me have spent over 300+ Pounds or 300+ dollars
and you should have the courtesy since we all spent that much on this game you would fix this game
im sorry perfect world if you cant get your problems fixed im taking my money else where.
As much as i love this game :/!!
But with this your going to lose ALOT of players

If anyone has actually had a thing that worked tell me this is what came up for me.

    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    =) Ah, you're not the only one with that error! You just need to update DirectX to 9.0c. It's a known problem, all you need to do is go Here and after that the game should work.

    Edit: Yeah my avatar is stuck at 80 and I'm 83 at the moment. I think it has to do with several of the site's pages going down for the expansion. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

    Yeah, install the Direct X end user time there, restart PC when sayed so and launch the game.

    Just update your DirectX to 9.0c. =) The game was made to run with it and a lot of people either don't have it updated, or have version 11.0 or something. If Darth comes back, I think he could explain it better, as my comp is pretty old and I don't know much about windows 7 compatibility XD

    I am litterly addicted to perfectworld and i was waiting 10 hours and it said that, a big let down :(

    =P At least you got to update flawlessly. Many are having problems with their patcher's crashing/freezing and having to restart them. The DirectX thing is one of the easier problems to fix.

    I myself haven't updated yet, because I'm paranoid and think my PC won't be able to handle it. XD It'll probably be fine though.

    <_< If you're getting that error, then your computer is not fine. You need DirectX 9.0c or else you don't get to play the game. Saying you won't be told otherwise doesn't mean you'll get a different answer when the answers you've been given before are the right ones.

    Didn't have to install it, tryed playing the game without doing it and just played fine so i didn't have the issue xD.
