Ok so all the new content for lvl 95+ in the expansion, but for some reason the Amber quest for lvl 35+ has vanished.

Has she moved position ? along with vanishing Alexander in north ?

The quest is still in my lil Sin's log & auto takes you to area but NPC = 0

    I can't see Amber either.. I don't know if this is a technical issue on my part(verifying just in case) or this was on purpose.. But it's pretty crappy that this entire update was dedicated to higher levels and then to top it off.. Have Amber removed for the lower levels? I mean do you want player under level 80 to continue playing this game? If I didn't have a level 53 and a level 72 I would have totally quit this game.

    Most lowbies I know didn't even know about this quest. Which sucked for them, but I'm mad that I don't get it anymore now I have to spend even more time in FC.

    Amber has left the building...

    Replaced by the Lucidsilver Npc's (near South banker in arch, behind elder in Lost and other spots) and the treasure hunter dude (near jewelcraftsmans in arch, didn't seek in other towns)

    Where Amber gave a 3 fantasy fruit bag, one of the chest u get for waiting 20 mins (if I recall right) can have 5. Or something else in it..

    Actually, if u are 25+, u can take quests from 2 of those, one between 8-9 pm and the other between 9-10 pm.

    So far, nothing too special from it (a all class pet turtle..yay !!)

    Treasure hunter quests are also pretty fun.

    So all in all, lose 1 quest to gain 3 Lucidsilver Npc's + treasure hunter guy + all those quests in new area..

    Amber deserved the vacation...
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    Some us play PWI instead of watching TV, ijs. b:cute

    Also, I expect that Amber and her friends disappearing may not have been intentional: They still show up in the coordinates tracker. Personally, I found it a good way to kill time in Arch while waiting for people to show up for GV and stuff. *shrug*

    Maybe they're all at home this week finding new things to write about instead of the PWIC? b:chuckle Actually, that would be kind of awesome if they come back next patch with new letters to exchange that deal with the expansion...

    And since she's still in the coordinates assistant, perhaps they decided to spend this week actually, you know, talking to each other instead of passing around letters. b:chuckle

    But yeah. I like the idea of the fangirls as a daily. The problem is that they need to keep fresh content. Hopefully they're working on that this week... b:surrender

    Yea.. nice between 8-9 and 9-10 PM but that is 3-5 AM for me so ain't happening :)

    And i have the same issue - still dont understand why it is so hard to make quests be like ambers and reset daily but stay available all day. :-(

    I know what you mean Yuna.....

    Lucidgold quest is during hours 21.00 - 22.00 PST = some ungodly hour of the morning in UK, last was at 3.24 am for myself.
    This is another item that for many of the international players, due to the time slot - they miss
    Nice that the quest is available for lvl 20+ but please make it available to all players as the Amber quest was, resetting to daily not just an one hour time slot.

    Treasure Hunt - OMG 88888 coins per day ( Killer cost for our lower lvl players) - cheaper to do Crazy Stones @ 72K+ the cost of shards to combine at higher lvl's. ( personally stop doing once cost reaches that per day )
    Not sure if the mobs that spring from the chests, are adapted to the players lvl. Hope so as lower lvl's would need a squad lol.
    I have done this hunt twice on my alt Sin, both times - 1st Map only, Hubby somehow got 3 maps to do each mob stronger than one before ( Rep on each map increases, so 3 maps = about 130 rep, forget exact amount Hubby said ) - still wondering if the 2nd & 3rd map drop is a random thing.

    I really hope Amber will return after the next Maint' these new ones will not be daily's for all players, due to time slot, cost or ability to cope with mob's.

    Um, huh? The cost of crazy stone is 71,550 per day (if you're buying your stones, you're getting ripped off, almost guaranteed) for levels 80 and above, and it doesn't cost to combine. TBH, there's very little good reason most 80+ can't afford it if they're doing their quests, most especially during 2x. *shrug*

    lol sorry have habit of rounding up, so 71,550 ( rounded up 72K ) the + for any that purchase commons at higher price.

    Only use Crazy stones quest if need extra exp to pop lvl, rather coin is used elsewhere.

    TBH, 71.5K coin is nothing. The 480K experience is also not much. But it's a lot of bang for the coin, no matter how you look at it. Amber was a really nice supplement to that. I find myself really missing running around Arch, which is kind of a bittersweet feeling. b:sad
