APS not nerfed after all?

Has anyone been able to observe the advertised APS nerf? I tried gradually increasing my APS and didn't see any point at which my damage or accuracy decreased. Is the "APS nerf" sin-only perhaps?

I switched targets before and after getting to 5 aps
Same Hit % chance.

maybe they just wrote down tht **** to make ppl believe tht they're really gonna nerf aps which in fact they are not.
so no one would even notice since they only said -5%.... conspiracy? xD0 -
could be an unseen change on stat page like attack / def bonuses ... ya there's a listing for it .. but you dont actually see a change in your normal stats[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

I just made a damage test on a mob
(I took a couple of screenshots at 4 and 5 aps)
4 aps average damage(Not counting critical attacks) = 1685,7
5 aps average daamge(Not counting critical attacks) = 1628,6

Try it with level 1 fists or barehanded so any variance in damage will be obvious in the damage report numbers?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Barehanded its 4 aps max I think,fists have more stable damage but not enough str to equip gorenox...

now for the easy part...
sparked 5.0 max damage and etc etc. this is where you subtract the %'s people not before spark...
1) you will NOT see it go down.. reason.. you dont know what it would be before hand unless u took a pre-expansion screenshot, period.
2) it will NOT go DOWN damage or down att% from a 3.33 to sparking to 5.. reason your not taking away from 3.33 your taking away from 5.0 after the spark. <who woulda thought damage would go down from 3.33 to 5 ap hmm... anyway not gunna happen.. 5 ap will always be stronger then 3.33 <another obvious>
3) point being ... nothing gets taken OFF untill after the spark. meaning, taking %'s off 4-5ap ONLY as stated in patch notes.
4) total outcome - your 5ap isnt gunna see a decrease from 3.33.0 -

yes im glad u quoted that word surpasses becuase in the game world surpasses means that and above when u reach THAT number uve surpassed it. thats just commin from a game developers experience ijs0 -

Im not even sure I'd even call it a tweak in PvE if my accuracy math in the BM forums was correct. PvP it makes a definite difference however - sucks for 5.0 sins, zero issue to the rest of us.
4.0 vs 5.0 with the nerf means 4.0 is 16% dps behind 5.0, as opposed to the original 20%. They closed the gap by 4%.
And this is just math from the wiki and pwidatabase. Im looking forward to seeing if I can find a difference tonight.

DPS = DPH (including nerfed or not nerfed) x APS
Example with average 2k damage per hit:
5aps: 2000 dph x 95% (new nerf) x 5aps = 9500 DPS
4aps: 2000 dph x 100% (no nerf assume) x 4aps = 8000 DPS
4aps even if nerfed: 2000 dph x 95% x 4aps = 7600 DPS
3.33 aps: 2000 dph x 100% (no nerf) x 3.33aps = 6660 DPS
Isn't that the basic calculation? That's assuming that high aps toons all have high dex therefore aren't really missing hits to worry about accuracy.
Therefore 5aps still better, because the 5% damage reduction doesn't outweight the aps increase.
