Problems with DX 9.0c - Possible fix

If you get a DX 9.0c error, but allready have it installed, try redownload here:
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=35

It worked for me :)

    This dosen't seem to be a viable fix for me I am having the same issue but I am running DirectX 11 so I don't see downgrading as a solution.

    I posted a fix, I was having the same problem with the reinstall of DX9. The game cannot be running is the jest of it.

    I was also running DX11 for some reason the patch,installer, or client messes with a file from it and it stops working with the game. My operating system is Win7 Ulti 64bit.

    But the game cannot be open or opened until a full reinstall of DX, regardless of the version I think, till the pc has been rebooted or it will somehow fail the reinstall. I think I must have tried 5 times then realized the client window was open.

    Once I closed everything pertaining to the game and did a reinstall with a reboot of DX it worked just fine, no more issues.

    Not a "downgrade", it installs missing files needed for DX 9 mostly.
