Is Roleplaying about?

I've played Rusty Hearts and Forsaken World, thought of both as fun, but eh. I played PW probably 5 years ago, my question is, since I want to get back into it, is there any roleplaying? I noticed in Forsaken World there was little to none, and out of hope, I'm here asking if there is any in Perfect World, any guilds, groups, etc. That do roleplay, thanks!

    I've played for quite some time and no,roleplaying players are like GMs in-game:No one ever seen em.

    Man thats discouraging, you'd think atleast some people would, the game screams roleplaying. 'Least in my opinion

    i've got a minibarb who speaks almost wholly in tones of 'rawr', because he's smawl.

    That's about the limit of it though.

    There isnt really an RP community in PWI, at least that i've seen. you're not the first person ive seen askin about it though, so perhaps there is a faction somewhere that does?

    I cant think that I've ever really seen RP in an MMO. I'm not saying it doesn't exist or can't be done, but i can't see how it could be done effectively (if you could enlighten me, please do; i might give it a shot)

    as for RP...occasionally see some in faction chat, so you gotta join the right faction where people are open to the idea I suppose, cuz personally I find it annoying after a time b:surrender it's always that same person, with no one replying maybe half the time
    like previously stated, RP is really not prevalent in this game

    There used to be two pretty big RP factions on Sanctuary, but I don't know if they exist anymore.

    I seem to recall that there was a RP faction on Dreamweaver, but I haven't heard about them for ages, so they're probably gone.

    Also, PWI has only been out for about 3.5 years, so you probably didn't play 5 years ago. ;-)

    This saddens me. I'm looking for an MMO with some RP as well. I come from WoW and enjoyed the RP I've had on there but I'm just wanting something new. I've heard good things about RP in Lord of the Rings Online, but I can't get into the game myself :/ Suppose I'll wait and see if RP in **** is any good once it goes free-to-play sometime this month.

    the thing is that WoW has such an enormous player base that they can dedicate multiple realms to RP and still have a stable population on most of them

    it is, again, the idea of separating people by their interest so it will ensure all those who enjoy RP are immersed in an environment where other people will also RP

    except that PWI doesn't have RP servers
    so factions is the closest you're going to get to an RP realm
