Be Very Careful With Prepaid Cards

Hey everyone,

Perhaps many here have purchased things like the prepaid game cards, gift cards, and the like, you know the things you need to scratch the back off to reveal the redemption code. I just had a scare with mine. I apparently scratched off the numbers.

How did that happen?

Before that layer was difficult to remove and you were always advised to use a coin on it (it was even in the fine print on some cards) so that's what I did, but the numbers got scratched away too. With the cards you needed a coin to remove the security film from there was no way you could have accidentally did such a thing (Not unless you were unnecessarily rough and who'd be crazy enough to risk loosing money doing that?), so I'm pretty turned off from purchasing such things ever again.

Just to be clear this is not an issue unique to Perfect World game cards it an issue that even effects credit cards as I was told. So, just a heads up for the unaware.
