I heard a rumor of double drops for the expansion OR for Valentine's Day. Truth? Lies? Link? Thanks.

    just a rumor made by someone who wants it
    But in personal i think will most likely to happen for the Valentine`s day

    Why don't trolls STOP being so ignorant and realize that:
    1) Sometimes PWI posts/mentions things in less than logical spots that not everyone sees them readily.
    2) By posting the question and getting the answer, it stops the rumor.
    3) Pretty sure Forums are designed for Q&A. If you'd like to whine about the Q, get off the forum.

    1) You show me a time when PWE has announced a 2x drop somewhere else than a sticky on the forums or in a news post? Also, even if they didn't, when you select server, you'd see the 2x drops options if they were turned on.

    2) No it doesn't. Every single time we get any kind of notable upgrade, the forums get overflown with people asking about APS nerfs.

    3) No they're not. Obviously not: you're supposed to find the answer yourself and only ask if that didn't do it. That and use common sense: If it's nowhere to be found, most likely it's not there in the first place.

    I'd like for you to find a time that PWE did not announce a 2x or similar event via...
    A. A post in the forums in the form on an announcement/sticky
    B. A post on the news blog that is also integrated into the patcher.
    C. An e-mail send out to every account holders e-mail.

    Thats 3 common places to looks that takes a mere minute, maybe 2 depending on the speed of your PC/internet connection.

    Rumors...go ask Duke Blacke. He'll tell you when the next 2x event is. He's more reliable than the answers you get from the forum.

    Seriously though, unless it's officially announced rumors are meaningless. It appears Frankie may have snuck in an unofficial official announcement.

    For the record for those QQing, some people might have received an email stating 2x drops while others haven't received any such notification. Doesn't make it a rumor just information comin soon.

    they didnt have a 2x last year on valentines but maybe it will come with expansion. i hope not though. way too soon for one

    Chinese server are going to have 3 days 4x EXP events, 2 times a day, for 5 hours total per day.
    And after that they will have 2x EXP events, also 2 times a day, 5 hours total per day.

    I hope we will get something similar. b:chuckle
