It'st that skill you get as an archer.
but when I try and use it, it doesn't seem to do that much things.. :/
I find it, kinda useless xD
Or I just don't see Its use?
So please, come someone explain it to me? :/
I don't really want to upgrade that skill if I'm not so sure of It's purpose. :|
(Mhm, I sound like a newb but hey, better than not asking at all!)
b:victoryb:thanks
I wish I could really fly..
It would be so much easier to be with you.

Its a good skill and saves you money on pots while grinding because it gives you a little MP and reduces the HP lost. It has a lot of situational uses. I put it on before firing STA at a boss so I can get that in early without worrying about being one shotted if I take aggro. If I auto path to a quest I usually put in on before I drop down in case the auto path took me to a dangerous place. It has a lot of uses, don't see why anyone would complain about it.

Worth noting that you should put it on before you attack a mob so it doesn't interrupt your attack speed. It ends after 20 seconds or when the damage limit is reached so if its ending soon then learn a new level so it absorbs more damage.

It is a good skill. One that I didn't appreciate fully until trying to learn and master its uses. laloner listed plenty of good ones.

It is definitely useful for restoring mp and for helping fights vs ranged mobs to minimize pot use.

It is also great at protecting against 1 shots. If I recall correctly, I saw math once indicating that someone would need to do 5x your max hp to one shot you through it.

Eventhough it doesn't absorb a ton of damage, any damage that you can minimize adds up over time.

I wouldn't prioritize it overly highly. Less than Stun and Lightning Strike, but more than skills like Serrated and Vicious.

It's a very good skill that absorbs 80% of the damage of a single shot while it is up.

    It's very underrated.

In early levels you can use it to save money on buying pots since it regenerates MP and absorbs a bit of damage. In mid levels you can use it to block damage if you accidentally steal aggro from something until the tank can reestablish aggro.

At end levels it's basically a defense charm that costs 45 chi. Most would rather save that chi for Wings of Grace. Demon archers get a free winged shell with wingspan though which is pretty cool.

Winged shell is a little bugged, even though it's said to protect you from 1k damage it usually protects you far more than that against strong attacks. It's a great skill in pvp, as it's basicly impossible to one-hit you through it.

at lower lvl's it is useless to use...
better to make a combo like frost-att untill it wears off or enemy is close-knockback-attack/spark/thunder or whatever you need to kill it before it is back at you.

at later lvl's however (80+) mobs become more powerfull even with r4 and max gear,
there is where winged shell kicks in if you lvled it too lvl 10 :)
it is a verry nice def for times in need bec it actually holds like 4/5th of the damage mobs deal.
making it more easy to not constantly have to kite and lose mobs agro if it takes too long

long kiting=losing mobs= less kills in that given time and the chance of running intoo other mobs which can be fatal.

instead of that i use aoe pullback and aoe thunder and shoot them down/stun/paralize or whatever if they think they can multiagro on me while i have always chi to roll out a plumeshell.

for pve, well it can safe you from dieing while under seige and cler/tank/bm-seeker are too busy to help you instantly and even can help you tank/solo bosses.
