    PWI isn't even paying for the prizes. They're promotional gifts from Logitech which gets ad-value from people seeing their name.

    So, in reality, PWE is only giving away a statue that probably cost them $20.

    PWE is despicably stingy.

    Even IF PW kept paying your VAT or any other currency convertion fee out there.
    You would STILL pay the same you are now.
    You are complaining about written numbers, which equal to the same CORE VALUE.

    45 euro = 50 GOLD = 50 DOLLARS.

    It changes nothing to what you get in the end; the same damn thing!

    Next to that, watch the news; Europe is in economical difficulty A.K.A the euro is decreasing in value = you pay more for something that stayed the same!

    Actually...45 Euro's is 59.73 USD at the moment. So yes, they are paying more for 5000 zen, but that's solely because of their VAT fees. Which is not PWE's fault, blame the European Union.

    Also, the VAT (Value added tax) is not a currency conversion fee. It's a tax. Yes, Europe is taxing it's people for purchasing pixels.

    Whether something is or isn't IP banned in a certain country has nothing to do with the fact that a version of the game in two different countries makes it International.

    And for the record, International =\= Worldwide, some people seem to be confused.

    I know, i was born in europe (Netherlands), thing is though; person i'm replying to is exagerating the entire point he's trying to make. Which was him blaming PW for the diffence he is paying, they haave nothing to do with it. (look back a page, it was the first thing i said lol ^^ )

    45 euro is indeed nearly 60 dollars.
    50 dollars however is as he said between 35 to 38 euro. (37 euro and 70 cents to be precise)

    So where that is concerned his argument is even invalid.
    where i was trying to get him to understand is that the core value will always be 50 gold (a.k.a 50 dollars)
    In numbers he is paying less, but in actual value he's paying exactly the same.

    (but yeah i'll have to say it depends on which country he actually lives in EU, for 35 to 38 Euro i could get myself a nice pair of branded jeans and maybe even a t-shirt. I dont know how that value is in US. I suppose that makes a small difference in "value" of said currency as well.)

    If I follow your dumb logic, the Vietnamese and Brazilian versions of PW are as much international as PWI's

    It doesn't matter what's International or what's not International. What really matters it what markets (countries) does PWI (Perfect World International, yes, the game, not the company) wants to cover.

    In this case, PWI is meant for Europe too. So I don't care if in your head International is USA and Canada, or USA and some other country.

    In game server browser you can choose where do you want to play, US or EU servers. For me that is a clear indication that game is for all of us, US and EU players.

    And I couldn't care less about stupid keyboard and stupid barb statue that is made in china and is worth not more than 2USD.
