its so hard to pick what i wanna get first!
anyone else have any ideas
i really love the teleport one and i really love the one that lets me take damage for other players! but the thing is i was hoping this would make me more better in pk or tw
even the one that AD means gives me a ten sec stun! which i heard i cant be immune too
so i dont get why give me an ad to make me sit there! usually i use AD to help me live to get away real quick if im getting jumpped!

Wraith escape: make all squad members 6 meters around unable to be selected, last 3.5-7.5sec (depends on your soulforce) 5min/3sparks
source of evil: buff your target, you will absorb all damage and debuffs from your target, max range 45meters.
embryo of the soul: make your target immune to dmg, recover 100% hp, stun himself for 10sec. (not rl stun, u cant immune it.) 28.5meter/3min/2spark

Still would be a question for the psychic forums. Doesn't matter what you are using them for, you want advice on which skills to learn when and in which order, you go to your class subforum....as for which to pick. I would highly recommended you check out bubbles thread and compare them for yourself. Read carefully the information about baby books and merit as well. Then go from there. How to change alliances once you've got the correct skill is also in there.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Personally, I'd go with the Squad Summon skill first. It sounds like an awesome skill to have, being able to bring others to the entrance of an instance if you're already waiting on them (not sure if it works inside of instances, but I have doubts).
Wind Rock sounds like an extra DoT to use for bypassing a charm, and if your target's affected by D.Vigor, it could help kill them after a tick. It probably wont have much use in PvE...
Embryo's a life saver when someone's genie/charm/apoth's on cooldown, so if you're TWing/group PvPing alot, its likely to be a "must have" skill. (Can you cast this on yourself?)
As useful as Wraith Escape sounds, 3 sparks is a hefty price to pay...you're likely to use this mostly for TWs while engaging an enemy's crystal, buying some extra time while being attacked for defensive skills/items to finish their cooldown. I'm not sure how it'll work in PvE or if AoEs will bypass it.

No exp lost on death =/= useful at level95+
The ability to survive a 1 shot =/= useful when the buff only last 8 (6?) seconds. Got to be a God to know when your about to be one shotted, otherwise its a waste.
The ability to debuff a target so they cant regenerate hp =/= useful on mobs or bosses that have millions of hp when at most we can only debuff up to 180k (18k?) Not to mention using this in a PvP situation is suicide since you're revealing your intent to kill that person, plus your heals are disabled so you can't protect yourself when they come after you.

Unless you can confirm that the damage increase in DD mode is equal to or slightly more powerful then a 1 spark at the 100% mark, I don't see how you can call losing the ability to use heals (and hp lost for those without the upgraded version) useful. None of those skills aside from the crit increase/soul burn ones are even remotely related to being able to kill your enemy faster, and even that is a big IFFY thing since soulburn is only 30% and is "Physical" while the crit debuff is just that, a debuff, nothing that will prevent them from attacking, nothing to lower their hp, nothing that will keep you alive.b:scorn...We are one, We are many, We are watching you...b:scorn0 -
why should it be more powerful then a 1 spark? its a free damn increase that stacks with ur other sparks and dmg increasements......................................................
if it was comparable to a 2 spark then it would be way overpowered. if you had the ability to heal on top of that then it would go beyond overpowered because ull be able to heal ur self to full HP in one pulse...
stop trying to overpower ur class and stop being so blindly biasthe skills are good.... so good that i wish mystic had them instead of clerics.

If you consider the fact that clerics are weaker then the other mages by default, a increase of a 1 spark is just putting them on equal terms. Thats without adding in the extra factor of psys who get even more power with voodoo and wizards who can spam up to 3 ulties without worrying about cooldown. It's in no way shape or form overpowered.
The point I'm trying to make out is that we can't heal while using this mode thus making it completely useless in pvp in terms of staying alive (PvE also). That's is why it has/have to be more powerful then a one spark, to make up for this disadvantage. This mode is first and foremost, suppose to make us into DDs at the cost of our ability to be support chars. However if it fails to give us the same amount of power as a real DD then it has failed its purpose, on top of making us alot easier to kill. You have to be a cleric or tank to realize exactly what the price is for losing the ability to heal yourself.
The rest of those skills as I've pointed out in the post before this one is that they are not in any way shape or form, overpowered in both the PvE and PvP aspect. Thus making the lost of our ability to heal without the "Deserved" increase in damage and access to skills that would turn the tide between a victory or a defeat in battle, mute. Its just unacceptable.

Edit: To add on to this, we clerics have no other damage increasing that can be considered useful. Least you forget the all too common fact that before this expansion, clerics have never had a buff (A skill that can be cast on the self only, that last longer then 30 seconds, and that increases one of our stats) Voodoo, fire/water/earth shells, whatever that mystic buff that increase phy+some ele resist, wood damage bonus/accuracy buff, speed buffs, magic/physical marrow, def level buff, and so on and so forth. All of these are skills other classes have that "Only they can use." That can fall under the catagory of buffs, this gives them the edge in everyday situations. Why? Because ALL cleric buffs are capable of being cast on others. They will almost always be on a person when they are in pk or TW or solo farming something. They get OUR buffs to go along with THEIRS that give them an advantage only that class can have. However Clerics have no buffs that increases any of our stats that you wont see on anyone else, thus we have the disadvantage of being weaker, slower, take more damage, do less damage then all other classes.
Venos have fox form for increased phy resist and in some cases speed as well as a speed buff. (Speed advantage and def advantage at the cost of not being able to attack while in fox form)
Barbs are just obvious.
Sins are even more obvious.
Mystics have tons from the ability to sacrifice pets and that non pet related buff that increase phy resist+ ele.
Psys is obvious.
Archers is obvious (Magic added to attacks, speed buff, increased dodge rate for those who don't get it.)
Seekers are obvious.
Clerics = All of our buffs can be cast on others = Nothing to give us an edge. Guardian light does not count. (Nothing with a 10 second duration and 5 minute cooldown should ever count) Plumeshell and wings of protection also does not count as buffs, more like shields. ive seen plenty of damn good clerics in my day that are very good DDs. these new skills will only make them even scarier.
a free 60-100% extra in atk power is nothing to just brush aside sir. if you think its weak then i suggest you go get rank 9 or upgrade ur current gear asap.
you should be lucky clerics in this game even HAVE DD potential. in most MMOs a cleric/healer class cant DD or kill for **** and focus on pure support only.

You disgust me by saying you wont read the entire post then proceed to talk nonsense based on assumptions.
At no point did I state clerics sucked, I stated they are at the disadvantages when it comes to buffs and that this new expansion will further that disadvantage. 100% fact.
Where the hell do you get off talking about how the new skills will make them scarier DDs? None of these skills aside from the increase crit rate debuff even remotely effect DDing.
The DD mode itself is something I Can easily brush aside because 60-100% is NOTHING in this game. A 1 spark, spark eruption can beat that by being at 200%. The problem with this damage increase is it's translation on several different threads. One says weapon damage, another magic attack, one other says soul force 2 out of 3 of those are translated as weak within our game. This one, this one tiny little itty bitty skill is the one thing all DD prone clerics have been looking forward to, yet they made it less powerful then a demon spirit gift or a 1 spark, spark eruption. For...get this...THE COMPLETE REMOVAL OF OUR SURVIVABILITY and USEFULNESS in PvE and PvP that I call heals. Either increase the damage we do in this mode, or let it give some hp or phy def or magic resist or SOMETHING to counteract how weak it is. (Based on translation)

Where the hell do you get off talking about how the new skills will make them scarier DDs? None of these skills aside from the increase crit rate debuff even remotely effect DDing.
where the hell do you get off by saying the new skills suck and are useless? the fact of the matter is that its your OPINION and it was also my opinion that the new skills were very good for clerics, but you dont see it as your opinion. all you do is go around the forums butthurt as hell about the new skills and how weak clerics are. all you do is QQ your damn eyes out till they bleed about clerics.

I seriously think the argument should stop here...... Classes each have their benefits and their weakness, Pros and the Cons. If you think Clerics are underated or underestimated, think twice on other classes as well. There are also other ppls out there also criticising other classes without posting on forums to complain bout it.
I personally think all classes have new roles in game, considering the new skills given to us. And last of all, Don't judge a new skill based on the description of it. If ya have not tried the skill in game against other ppls, there is no point complaining since you won't even know how good a skill actually is.Wow, I see you... Mostly linked those for reference purpose, I'm sure you must had readed them and only wanted opinion.
From your 2nd thread in general discussion, you wanted to know which is better to support your squad. Then "Wind rocks buried" being a delayed damage skill isn't a priority. From the Orders guide, Korren answered us that skill not currently listed will be made advaible later in the expansion, which mean the summon/teleport is out of the equation for now.
I don't consider the "Wraith Escape" skill to be usefull, but that is because I has no idea of how it work/can truly do and it's impact in pve/pvp (except that cata puller lose their catapult if they are affected by it). Imo, send an alt in that faction to get the baby book and then account stasth/mail it to your psychic, it will allow to get an head start on one of the other two if not going for "Wind rock buried" 1st and allow testing(which is what I will do myself).
"Source of evil" might come in handy if you can tank the damage in white voodoo(or is just helping a lowbie who but itself in something dangerous). It activate SoV if it's active on you too it seem and would appear to last 15sec. (Curious now to see if that damage transfer goes through psywill/expell and IG like pot, if it's doesn't bypass those, gain in power for this skill.)
"Embryo of the soul" is a pocket IG you can cast on someone else and fully heal them in the process. Cannot be combo'ed with anti-stun homever, which is kinda sad since bm/sin/barb/archer could already do so by themself without using a genie skill.
With the change made to Absolute Domain no longer being an aoe, it would appear us Psychic were intended to take over it's place.
Edit: Since both Source of evil and Embryon of the soul cost 2 spark and have a cooldown of 3mins, having both had hand are usefull. Just pick yourself your poison for the next month of Order dailies/weekly. I'm thinking of going for Embryo 1st myself.0 -

I'm more biased towards gears n stuff than those skills.

I would have to agree that the psychic's list of new skill isn't that great looking comparated to the other class. Still going to get them for the "oh sh*t" situation and the Wind rock buried spell gonna be handy for white voodoo usage or if you can time it right pvp wise. The baby book of the the 3spark is cheap, gonna be able to test if it's waste or not.
And speaking of Red Tide, I mostly use it in delta since spark don't stack with atk aura and when I need to deal aoe damage and I'm stuck in white voodoo for safety reason, still probably gonna be the last skill I'd lv to sage if ever... and that would be if page of fate give it to me without being able to resale it.
New gears, look great if you never pvp, but just remember they are character bound and cannot be put in the account stash. Silly pwi china, they would be more popular if it was simply account bound... Well, we will see how strong are the new pve atk/def lv in the new content and old ones also.0 -
