I'd recommend going either AA, HA, or LA. And you should use a magic weapon or something else...

...Btw, what are your goals for your veno, what do you want it to do?

Standard build is 4.5 magic, .5 str per level = 1 str every 2 levels and the rest into magic. Some veno's like to add a bit of vit but don't over-do it.

depends, if u want dps, go arcane. if you want survivability with that, add about 50-100 vit. if you want pure damage, 5 vit and all magic with minimum str. you can have decent hp with just 5 vit so its up to you (as long as your refines are good anyways) most people go this build.

if you want defense, go heavy. well magic defense will probably be on the lower side. attack is considerably lower than arcane, but similar to light armor. purpose of heavy is for pvp, if you can build it right. mixing heavy and arcane armors can give great magic and physical defenses, making you a pretty tough opponent. i wouldnt recommend it till 90+ though. stats would be build around gear requirements, which means 3-5 vit. and you will most likely need a good tome.

light is easy to build but not strong on either defense. its an ok build for casual playing though. but if you plan on going end game, be it pve or pvp, i wouldnt end with light armor. but, the way you build it is minimum dex/str for armor, and rest into magic, leave vit at 5.

So why don't you do a pwcalc of your current build so we can see what you have?

depends, if u want dps, go arcane.

I think you mean dph. The actual dps order from highest to lowest would be LA claw veno, HA melee veno, AA veno assuming they're geared for that build.

Edit: Actually, with R9 weapon and depending on your culti AA could compete with HA for dps.

an reset All note fixes the problem easily. imo stick to pure magic build , its probably the easiest.

Or due to the vit , u can keep some and go Vit magic.

    Dex should go to 5 , STR should be STR = [ ( YOUR LVL + 8) / 2 ] , doesnt work if u use patakas.

Keep Vit at either 5 , or round to 40-50 for a vit build.

All points should go staight into magic. Lvl 78 is too high to start your veno again , so a reset-all note is the most viable solution in the end

AA is prolly the easiest route and the most cost efficient. I don't see a problem with taking vitality down to 3, but that's going to be a huge drop in survivability that you might not be used to yet.

I'd recommend taking vit down to either 53 or 28, then later using a reset intermediate (50 points) or reset all intermediate (25 points to all) once you have your endgame and can adjust your dex and strength to be perfect with gear adds.

Dex is not needed for venos. Sure, landing on a multiple of 20 is nice but don't worry about that yet. Take that down to 5.

Phoenix gave you a formula for str I haven't seen. I use (current level - 1)/2 + 5. Round up. That's because AA and (most) arcane weapons require .5 str for everytime you level (level 78 means you level 77 times from level 1) and you start with 5 stat points. I'd reset down to 44 str since thats what you need for level 80 weapons.

    Everything else to magic.

So your stats without gear should be vit 23 or 53, str 44, dex 5, and magic 303 or 333 (depending on vit amount).
