    I would love to see GM activity again. I understand that PWE staff has their hands tied 99% of the time, but little things like funny random red named text or events like this go a long way towards fixing the broken moral of this once really really fun game.......just my 2 cents b:thanks

    I agree.

    Even something as simple as "Hi everyone, hope you all have fun killing wraiths" or something.. or "Temperatures reaching a unprecedented low, we suggest staying out of FC today"
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    That event looks pretty cool. However, I'm sure it's just temporary until the expansion launches and maybe it will continue upto a couple weeks after the launch. The last time I played a couple years ago, GMs were quite active in game and would joke around with us on the forums too but that's when the company was starting and PW was the only game they had.

    As MMO companies get bigger, they move away from emphasis on community interaction; several companies that I have witnessed do this. A lot of people don't care about staff interaction once a game gets popular because they just wanna play because their friends play the game or because their guild moves to the game. I'm one of the people who thinks its lame when companies stop caring about personalities of their staff and tie their hands once their game(s) become popular and then suddenly care again once an expansion comes out or the population starts dwindling. I'm skeptical because I've seen this temporary burst of enthusiasm from MMO companies in the past that quickly fades a few weeks after their product or server launch is successful.

    If these type of events continue until well after the expansion I'll no longer be skeptical but I do enjoy the GM interaction in the meantime b:pleased

    This reminds me of a game i used to play 10ish years ago. GM's would global chat to go to location and BAM hardest boss's and new never seen before boss's in the game being spawned one after another. Or entire server vs GM pvp. ect....

    In that game you get a penalty for dying, the next day everyone had -40% to all stats that they needed to grind off, yet had no problems cause of the fun they had getting there.

    From what i hear, they still do this, but not as often.


    Insane fun for those that are growing tired of the same thing day in and day out.

    This was a great random event.... The squad I was in at the time even left alts in the instance we were in so we could go down and check out all the craziness. I haven't seen DW WC explode with that much fun & giggles in a while. b:thanks
