Good question. I'm also curious as to which npc we talk to obtain each individual skill. Answers on these questions would be very much appreciated.

I think I heard something along the lines of:
    ~Join one of the NPC Faction/Alliances (Light/Dark/Shadow)
~Do daily quests for contribution towards said Faction
~Exchange contribution (and coin) for the skillbooks that faction offers

Once you've learned what you wanted, you can easily leave and align yourself with another of those alliances...

Yes. I've heard of these too. I was curious as to which faction offered which skills. That way I could go after the skill that I really wany first. I was also curious as to the required coin and contribution amount if anyone had it.

Thanks for the info again though.

From what I understand there are new cultivation paths to follow as well in order to get the ability to learn the skills. Probably will be something similar to getting your 100 culti, or something much harder since the game is being geared towards R9 players now.

I think it depends on the class you play. Wizards for the most part have been literally salivating over their new skills which will appear to make them virtually untouchable by the aps classes for the most part.

Archers also seem to have been given a good deal now that more details have been forthcoming about the new stealth skill. BMs as well certainly don't have much to complain about with the addition of two new control skills plus an extra aoe that may very well rival Seeker's vortex in terms of damage (if not duration).

Clerics and Mystics on the other hand... well lets just say the QQing has been non-stop. b:chuckle

Speaking of Seekers... now that they have changed up the initial "broken kettle tactic" skill... it looks like I may soon be able to buff my R9 Seeker's attack levels to 150. b:dirty

I heard you can join only ONE, and if you can change the Force/Faction it will probably costs some Boutique thing (Celestial/Demon Convert?) And you can get the skills from other Forces but it requires much much more contribution and time, like leveling to 105 i guess

Wait so to get the skills that would balance out the game cost money? PWI has to be the best ever! Whether its in game coin or real cash that is flat out stupid. This game has been imbalanced for soooo long and you mean that now a semblance of balance is coming it has a cost? WOW just WOW. Well done PWI, seriously, cheers.

Gtfo the forums then if your other game is so much better.

And yes, I'm happy you actually have to work for those skills. How lame would it be if you just could learn them. Boring.

the balance is free, the acquisition of skills isn't. the developers balance the game, not your character specifically.

    +10 isnt balanced with +3
lvl 100 isnt balanced with lvl 70
individuals characters are never complete complements or perfect adversaries intrinsically
nothing in this game is free, that is, available without either paying, or working, or both.

Come to the archer forum... there is talks of +6cv bow and +5 veno killing fully decked out jade +12 r9s all the time. If that is not balance... then I don't know what is.
    1. If I kill you; do something about it yourself, don't go complaining to my wife.
    2. If you have less kill counts then me, don't expect me to take pk advice from you.

Yeah, I'll have to see them ingame to see for myself . Can't judge the skills based on text only, so we'll have to wait and see if ourselves I guess.

I really don't expect PW to do anything except try to make more money. Most cash shoppers will probably have them the first week of expansion and everybody else will take forever to get them. That's the PWI definition of balance.

the translation i saw for the skills and items you can get with prestige points was about 100k coin for tradeable ones and he didnt say anything about coin on the untradeables. however you have to do the quests to gain prestige and you can only get so many points per day. you can only get certain ones from each of the three paths, some are transferable and some are not. Long as it ends up being the same as what it was there when it come out then it should not be to bad for people who like farming/questing. You shouldnt be able to just buy it directly since you have to have prestige points from quests
