Hi there. Im the type of person that likes grinding and i just wanna know if AOE here is profitable enough for me to be able to get a little coins to safe up for gears(not rank or aps XD) , charms and stuff like that or will like most of my earnings go into repairs n pots leaving me with only like 10-20% of the coins to use making it useless.

I just really wanna know because i don't have any money or card to get gold for this game.
not looking to have the most money or best gear in the world just wanna know if grinding is an ok way to make coins to help save for gears that can get me into instances later n without having to ignore my repair bill or pot cost.

Im really worried about this because ive lvled bin to high lvl in other games n grinding go me nowhere i couldnt even refine because all the items to do tht with were in the shop so yea just wanna know if theres hope for me to be somewhere like lvl60 n be able to get a +0 wep with the nice green writing on it with npc gear or are weps like that hard to get and break my bank no matter how much i grind? id check but idk the name of em srry XD

I am a bm, seeker, wiz, mystic, barb and veno, lol still chossing b:chuckle

AoE grinding is actually better at lower levels rather than higher levels, when mobs have ridiculous low chance to drop DQ items.

As far as I known there are lots of cheap alternatives on equips -- green TT equips and Mold equips are quite cheap and not that bad plus refining isn't that expensive till +4/5 if you manage to farm some fairy boxes(a.k.a. mirages).

I believe endgame AoE grinding is feasable. The coin isn't a lot, but you also get DQ points when you sell the DQ drops. The DQ points can be used to obtain Tienkang Stones, Tisha Stones (for refines), as well as Silver HP charms.

BMs can AoE on Goothes. Clerics AoE on Avalanche Spiders or whatever they are called.

The mobs near the entrance of the Old Valley of the Scarred are also doable for AoE.

BM, seeker and barb are decent for AOE grind. Veno not so much, unless you get a herc, or a reflect pet skill scroll to put on a lesser tank pet (and that's slower and more of a bramble grind.) One class you didn't mention that's got a good (but specialized) AOE grind niche is the cleric... unlike the others, which AOE grind on melee mobs, clerics AOE grind on poison mobs, healing themselves (which helps hold aggro as you're gathering the mobs) and purifying the poison.

You used to be able to afford charms from AoE grinding... But that's when gold charms were like 375k when they put the 5 packs on sale.
I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

Grinding isn't the most profitable method here, but its still profitable enough that over time, you'll be able to get gear, refines, etc. Its not the quickest method, but it is an effective one.

My main is a cleric, and I can tell you that once you reach level 60 for a cleric, that's when AOE grinding becomes a possibilty. Other classes can AOE grind as well, but I have the most experience on my cleric. If you wish to see it, just copy and paste the link in my signature (not the quotation marks), and scroll down to "Grinding Potential" for more information. Alternatively, you can click here.

Others have pointed out information for other classes, so I won't cover them, but a cleric is a good AOE grinder on poison wood mobs. You'll sell the drops and DQ items to make a profit. Over time of doing that, you'll earn enough coin for what you need.

    Hope this helps. Take care.

Just create a BM & Cleric. The GMs allow you to open 2 Clients and have a personal healer.
    Happy AOEing!

Esp when its on 2x drops, go kill those hunky physical mobs :0
Grab the DQs, sell to NPC, get DQ Points, trade into Event Gold, buy your Refines Stone ;)

aoe grinding can pay off in 2 ways
selling dq's for 1-coins and for 2-dq points

the aoeing part is what makes all that come in faster :P

save up enough dq points and you can get a demon/sage event card in which you can buy teinkang stones, it can really help in upgrading your gears.

i do aoeing for dq points sometimes on my mystic. healing myself over and over makes mobs stay aggro'd on me (not reset) and my lightning mistress also helps me aoe too.

    Wizard can AOE grind too.
do something whatever to get to lvl80.
Change weapon, and some gear. Buff yourself up, get a HP and MP charm. Expel or Abs.Domain on genie is a must.

Go to rockenwolves, see location here:http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/mob/12273

Setup the DB in the middle of the spawn point. Log on your alt and fly around gathering the wolves and lure them to DB.
Solo AOE Grind for wizards in world map is a pain in the rear. But all that changes at 90+

Real Solo aoe grind for wizards happens only in OHT Map3.
    See here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7JlJuCpu38
9-10 mil xp/hour is quite easy to make. Not really worth it for xp only, but drops are nice and if you are time limited and you want some xp fast, that's the place to go.
also the link is in the sticky "Cryxtal's Guide to Grind/Zhen/Gamma"
Read it and come back if you have questions

Look above video for common features of: "How can you grind solo ?".

I used same mean to grind mobs at levels 80+.

    Edit:
And I never used HP/MP charms.

I think YKD is from the PW-MY name for Nightscream Island. I don't know about Mag Ridge, might be the area where the Seaweed Thieves are.
