Worth it get Rank 8 for psys or is there something better like TT 100 or nv etc? (except r9 ofc)
We'll never find out of epic Perfect World would have turned out with their original developers :/

    R8 Weapon is the best..maybe NV Weapon is better but I don't think I yet saw a Psy with one. As for gear full rank gear is good since it gives nice attack levels and stats and especially if you want to recast it..but hh99/lunar is good especially since you can nirvana it which gives very good stats and all. I haven't compared r8 recast and nirvana so I can't say. The best not so expensive combination people usually do is combination of r8 and hh99/Lunar/nv. Since psy doesn't really need channeling you should see which fits your taste better full r8 or combination. I myself have combination of r8 and hh99 but I would go full r8 without problem now.

    U can recast r8? How does that work and how costy?

    I never calculated the price cause I don't plan to recast r8(going for r9) but it can end up pretty much free if you have patience and good guild to farm all mats doing Trails. But farming it all might take a while unless you are in a guild that does all 9 trails in one week then I guess it might be much faster. R8 recast also gives bonuses like hh99,nirvana and r9 do and can end up awesome since stats are random which also means it can get crappy. I have mostly seen fail r8 recast weapons but gear I've usually seen good one.

    You can see how much of what you need at forges that are stated near guild base entrance in archsour(close to elder). All shops that sell those mats are around forges too so you can see prices too.

    And I just remembered that I have list of stats you can get when I made graphic list for my guild's forum. Weapon and Gear (Same of all Arcane classes).

    Psys must R9 + high refines.

    I doupt a psy can only be good with r9

    Not true. I'm rank 8 +10 weapon and I have problems just with R9 or R8 with +10 everything.

    The only thing better than R8 would be R8 Recast, R9, and 20 Attack Level Nirvana Recast.
    R8 is the BARE minimum you can get away with for PvPing on a psychic. (In my opinion)

    Rank 8 recast isn't worth it yet I don't think.
    Too expensive per piece with too high a chance of **** stats.

    Crappy stats. So true I just got recasted leggins and got 2x evasion:angryb:angry. On another hand it cost less, than 1 piece of nirvana armor. And 2 pieces of R8 give you free 900HP, which is awesome + always 4sockets + HUGE amount of mag. resistance.

    Are the chances of craptastic stats worth it in the end b:surrender because you can really wrack up the price of the recast if you keep getting fail stats.

    And do remember that R8a only get def lev possibly on the weapon itself. While Nirvana get it as set bonus...

    In the end, both nirvana and R8a set has it's up and down, which make them all 3 valid option for endgame. If you got multiple char using the same armor type... then 1 of the nirvana set for sure.

    anyways going r9 is best for a psy and its fking worth it.... my wife started on her r9s and the jump in power is enormous!

    r8 recast armor just isn't worth it because of the random stats. You'll likely end up paying more than you would for Nirvana armor.

    r8 recast wep on a psy is also really not worth it for the same principle and because you'll want DAMAGE, not the defensive stats you'll likely end up with (and if you do end up with all defensive stats, then congrats...your plain r8 weapon will do more damage than your r8 recast wep). You might as well just get r9 ring+wep at that point.

    R8 weapon is awesome, it has some of the best damage output for a psychic weapon minus R9, the armour.... TBH if you can't afford R9, then go TT nirvana. I have full R8 and am not impressed with it at all. Whereas with a Tier 2 nirvana setup you can get more HP, better physical defense, and more magic added. and the end result a full +12 R8 psy with recast will cost you more than double what a tier 2 nirvana psy will cost, and the stats aren't guaranteed. they're random. TBH not worth the coin spent to recast.
