Bramble question and crit rate

So i like to read sin forums the most, its where all the fun is since bms and barb forums seems dead, so i have brought a question i encountered while doing bh with a veno friend of mine, so we started the run and she usually brambles everyone except the cleric, like a decent veno should do, anyway we were running and she bramble the sin in the squad, then the sin said if she could not bramble him, i thought ok he might not want some agro pulling but then she asked why, and the sin answered because it messes my crit rate, then i started wondering about that.

So i come here to the great minds i have seen post about this peculiar info i got, ik for a fact that bramble does crit or im jus blind, since i have seen numbers doubled a couple times, and ik that crit rate affects each attack not ur over attacks, but what do u think about this? is bramble bad or good for ur crit rate?

    Bramble just reflect the damage u take back to the attacker based on it's lvl (sage/demon). And i believe is affected by your crit rate because for example when i demon Roar i see different numbers some time i am attacked by the same mob.
    If someone has more info plss share it.

    This should really be in the veno forums, but meh...

    I don't have any math or experimental values to back this, only observations of playing my brambled veno, sin, and cleric.

    The crit rate of bramble appears to be the same as the one who is brambled. I'd assume that it's calculated much like attack and defense levels.

    Bramble has no effect on crit rate. However the damage reflected by bramble IS affected by crit rate since reflected damage can crit.

    I do not know about other sins but I do not like bramble, it seems to make me get hit more often, like overriding my evading skills just so it can reflect damage.

    Wait so bramble reflects can crit, but the crit chance is not based on the actual reflected hit critting but rather the crit rate of the person using said bramble?
