Hi there, you guys probably get this a TON, but if anyone would be able to help me out with my sin i would appreciate it. Im not exactly sure if these are the best items for my price range. This is what ive come up with.

Items i do have:

Hook and Thorn
Energetic Robe
Chintiens helm

So none of this is really set in stone lol.

Are there any items that would be better / cheaper than what i had listd? Ashuras wrists / boots are probably the most expensive, but i need that for aps right?
Im poor so if im able to get almost as good, but cheaper, i would go for that =p

I second this.....your str shouldn't be that high unless you have a decent Warsoul Helm. The TT helm isn't worth it and you might as well buy a Helm of Lion Spirit while keeping your str where it needs to be.

I hate to say this because I know its a huge coin investmentment (about 100m, depending on current rep) but go for R8. That'll almost double your damage and your defenses all in one once you get the chest plate, pants, and dagger.

Think most people would aggree R8 chest/pants/helm is more important than TT99 ornies and wrist/boots . Also, get Band of Heaven's Jail ring instead and as mentioned, change your helm to either Aqua Visciousness or Helm of the Pirate.

Fear not, I've already witnessed the following:
R8 sin using Hook and Thorn
R8 sin with 4.2k HP
Sin with +10 G13 Nirvana and only R6 armor

Well, I've witnessed a Psy with Underworld Sovereign (the r6 sage weapon requiring all the badges etc) that's +12 with 2 Icebourn gems in it, with only 4k hp (or +2 to +4 gear)

It saddens me a lil at how some players have their priorities completely wrong.

I've been spamming FCCs trying to get to 102, but selling the exp room. Honestly, I think there is nothing wrong with selling heads... but there might be something wrong with buying heads. I keeping makes 80-90 or 89-99 squads and getting sins with 2.8k hp, barbs with 9k hp tiger,... had a 4.2k hp level 96 bm want a free spot to pull the exp room if I had a cleric who could bb (he got kicked, didn't want him killing the cleric). I know they've probably got alts with their 100 gear that they're waiting to transfer but I'm impressed with all the squishy undergearedness I see when selling exp room.

Indeed.

When it comes to BMs or sins, a lot of people seem to have the mentality that they'll get a +10 weapon with 5 aps first and then use that to get into fast nirvana squads and use that to farm their armor refines. Works in Nirvana where you can just unequip your Jones' and there'll be a better DD to take the aggro. The problem is everything else: Try doing a BH, it's highly unlikely that you'll run into anyone with a +10 weapon.

Any advice you can give me?
After these i plan to put DoT in the rest of the gears and stop here (mabe +10 pants and cape and 4 soc wrists and boots). I am currently saving for R9 (weapon only for Sin or armor only for Barb for now - still thinking about it).
Maybe put 4 Cit gems in Lunar cape?
I do not plan to get Nirvana hat because is cheaper to buy WoE 4s with some decent refines and i would like to use it on different chars.

Edit:
Difference between Cit gems and Vit stones is only 15 HP and 10 mill in coins.

And if only the problem was only with gear! I finally found an at level squad to run my archer's bh59 with the other day. While I was waiting for the tank to build aggro, I was asked why I wasn't attacking, to which my response was "I'm managing my aggro". The barb, cleric, and sin in squad all asked what aggro was...

On topic, follow the advice above. I'd also recommend getting an O'Mallys blessing instead of a Jone's. The defense levels will help make up for refines until you can get them up there.

Saku's build is definitely something to work towards. You may want to go in a couple stages tho, using this as an intermediate. The refines are a little lower, which will save you some money in the short run. Just keep in mind that you'll have to up them later (especially on your permanent gear).

The necklace you have in your original build comes from the faction base, so don't count on getting it. The Sky Demon's Pearl is a cheap and effective alternate until you get your Lionhearts.

The belt you had listed is also unrealistic, as it's the quest reward from the "Tiger's Mind".

Ill look into the items you guys mentioned, but things like R8 for 100m, thats just out of my price range ATM, even if i do want it

Right now, i have about 20m, but a lot of that is tied up in catshops to make more

i might be able to save up 100m in a couple months from it, but thats awhile down the road =p

I have 100 cleric on another account that i can play with my sin, so i was hoping even with ****ty equipment i could run both and farms like low lv TT etc. Think that would be possible?

The builds you guys posted look really good =p By the sounds of it though im gonna need about 150m LOL.

Do yourself a favor then and don't hit 100 yet. You'll shamelessly die in BH100 with those gears.
And really, sins are not a cheap class. The r8 is kind of the smaller part you#'e gonna need to be good...

Try seeing 100+ sins with Rank 8 top and Hooks.
Try seeing 100+ sins with Rank 8 +10 weapon and 4.2k hp.
Try seeing 100+ sins with Rank 6 top and +10 2x Garnet Gem BTN.
Try seeing someone selling a +10 Hook with 2 G10 Garnets in it.

And personally, I pretty much stopped leveling after 92 because the next upgrade gearwise was 97. After 97, I realized that I'd probably want TT99s before hitting 99, so I stopped again. On 99, I stopped until I could afford Rank 8.

And yes I pretty do the same now. My sin is currently 94 and staying at it until I got my skills where I want them. Also staying in the PV range of my friends.
I got my 99 ornaments and armor already but I won't be hitting 100 before I can afford 200k rep. Sanctuary doesn't need another sin like that. b:surrenderb:chuckle

See....I don't cry when I see those sins, I hit them with roar and kill them before they can stealth.

And I usually have the whole squad backing me cause that sin probably died 50 times during the run that the whole squad was pissed with it b:victory

Im a little confused by this, as others have said it also, but why? Im not cash shopping, so how do i get these gears that you guys suggest?

Wouldnt it make it easier to get these gears if i was lv 100 compared to 90?

Would a lv 100 sin with hnt and a lv 100 cleric bb bot not be able to kill some boss for gold? not even hh1-1?

I got to do something to get these items, so what do you guys suggest to make gold ? my catshop bring in 1-2m daily, but i dont want to wait 2+months for R8, theres gotta be something i can farm with a 100sin with hnt isn't there?

Anyways, thanks for the info guys =p

I think the idea is to level with your gear. Yes, you probably have a better chance of making coin at 100 for two reasons: You can start collecting vana keys and you can do 100 BHs. However, you'll be somewhat of an embarassment to yourself as you'll be mooching off of other since you are so undergeared.

Two schools of thought. One if take your time and grind/farm as you level so that you are never undergeared. The other is be undergeared but get to the "money making" spot sooner and work your way up from there. Most of us are so tired of running with these embarassments that we're kind of jaded towards powerlevelers that want to get to 100 and have us kill stuff for them.

If you can't afford a single piece of level 100 gear, e.g. Rank 8 or Nirvana, the only difference between you being 99 and 100 is BH100 and Nirvana. Well, you won't get into any Nirvanas with your gear and you'll only be a leech in BH100.

dug herbs in hell for weeks, no repair cost and good profits

actually I was there this week too simply because I was getting bored of fcc

also some book keeping helps

I've even started to grind 3rd map to get dq point for refine aids

There really isn't any shortcuts, you have to sit down and work at it
