Recruit Badge = Missing?

So you can't sell, drop, whatever these badges right? Well, I haven't tried to do any of that and today when I reached level 40, I went to go to Rank 2. One problem though, my recruit badge is NO WHERE on my person.

Can anyone tell me what the heck has happened too it D:?

    Check bank?
    Make sure it's not equipped when you try to get the next rank. *that actualy happend to me on my mystic...*

    -.-.....it totally is equipped. Now I feel like a complete idiot. Haha thanks for letting me know why it wouldn't work.
